great. i was worried about being in the north building and having to walk across the parking lot to the slopes but it is very close and not an issue at all.

We loved the extremely easy acces to the mountain for skiing. The gondola was literally a few steps away and we skied directly to the ski valet at the end of the day. No lugging our skis around or having to travel to get back. The beds were a little hard for our liking.

I had an emergency and had to check out 2 days before our original date and didnt have any possitive answer from the front desk to see any possibility of getting back those paid nights

If you're a skier the location of this hotel can't be beat as it is right at the gondola. It also is a very short walk to the village which has many nice eating places and shops. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They provide shuttle service to Vail village and other short distances which is nice so you don't require a car and don't have to wait in the cold for the bus. The room itself is only average size and hasn't been updated in a while. We didn't find any controls for the temperature and it got too hot during the night. It is pricey but then it is on par with everything else around Vail.

The location was perfect! You could walk out to the gondola, store your gear on the deck, have a beer or margarita during happy hour 3-6 at El Bolero all without leaving the resort. The lobby always had hot chocolate, coffee and water available. The closet has nice storage units for your boots, helmets, etc... Good dresser storage too for the week. The unit was equipped with plates, bowls, silverware a fridge, freezer and a microwave. The only downside to the room was the bathroom which has very little counterspace. Heater worked great and they even offered a warm air humidifier in the closet (I wish we would have used this). Easy access to shopping and restaurants. Just be prepared to spend on average $20 per person per meal or more. However, the food is great quality.

This property has one of the best locations in Lionshead Village. We stayed in the South Building. Very friendly staff!! We will definitely come back !

Great service with a friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms and you can’t beat the short walk to the lifts. Would definitely stay there again
