Price was too high.

This hotel was your usual run of the mill medium priced hotel. breakfast not included. although you can pay 10 dollars for the usual hotel options. Cracker Barrel and Maple Street Bisquit are right around the corner. If you like a comfortable bed, this is not your place. Out of 23 people staying in our group, 20 said the beds were terribly uncomfortable and hard.

Location was great for me. Close to my adventures. Good staff and breakfast was excellent.

My visit to the Hilton Garden Inn was disappointing due to the fact the hotel was so outdated. The baseboards in the room hadn’t been cleaned in ages, contributing to the overall lack of maintenance. To add insult to injury, I had an uncomfortable encounter with the redhead MOD. I came downstairs barefoot, where I was told brusquely I needed to wear shoes. As a Diamond Life Member, I wasn’t aware of such a policy, and while I understand there are likely such regulations, the way I was told felt uncalled for. With my corporate office right across the street, I’ll be back in the area—just not back here. Wherever I end up traveling next, I will have to check the shoe policy from now on.
