Surfer Beach Hotel

We keep coming back year after year. Always a wonderful experience. Clean, comfortable and right in the middle of where we need to be for all the action of Pacific Beach. Front desk staff are the best, Umit and Hunter make the experience flawless.

The location honestly could not be better. You’re literally steps from Pacific Beach with the ocean right outside your door. Having both Woody’s Breakfast and Burgers and World Famous right out front made the trip even better. One of the biggest surprises was how affordable it was for being this close to the beach and in the middle of everything. But what really made the stay stand out was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful the entire visit. If you want a laid-back beach stay with an unbeatable location without spending a fortune, this is such a good spot. ☀️🌴

Hotel nie jest nowoczesny, pokoje raczej minimalistyczne ale mają wszystko czego potrzeba. Podczas mojego pobytu czułam się w obiekcie bardzo bezpiecznie. Na tyłach hotelu jest furtka do bezpośredniego przejścia na plażę. Dookoła pełno knajpek, barów i supermarkety. Jest to okolica imprezowa, więc w piątki i soboty trzeba liczyć się z hałasem do późnych godzin nocnych

Was very disappointed the pool was being worked on, but of course the view made up for that. Could've given discount because other people that I talked to that stayed there complained about it.

Good location, staff reasonable in difficult circumstances

The pool was being renovated and this was very noisy. The hotel allowed us to cancel.

How close it is to World Famous and Woody's for breakfast. Great location. The view from our room.

Takes a while for the shower to heat up especially in 315. The valve is backwards as well. Also the portable a/c unit is quite noisy it over take the sound of the ocean.

You couldn’t find a better location for a beach vacation; walk down the boardwalk for a snack, a meal, or a drink, or chat with the friendly staff, then as the day unwinds, listen to the waves lull you to sleep. We appreciated how Rafa, Adin, and Angel welcomed us, checked in on us to see if we needed anything and generally acted as though we mattered. Angel is aptly named as he helped us out answering all our questions with kindness and patience. It’s not the Hilton, but it isn’t trying to be, with windows that open to let in the sea breeze and that laid-back beach vibe, I would highly recommend a trip to the Surfer Beach Hotel.
