Residence Inn Pittsburgh Cranberry Township

Thankfully, the credit card I booked with gives me instant notices of purchases. My app notified me I was being charged $20/per day in addition to my already paid room rate for my 3 day stay. I went to the front desk to inquire about the additional charges. The lady at the desk told me it was a daily fee "for parking"!!! I advised her I was not paying for parking in their dark and pothole infested parking lot. She said she would remove the fee, but she didn't. I went back the next day and talked to a different lady and now I'm being told it was for "incidentals". I did not purchase any incidentals, and again, I advised her that I am not paying sixty more dollars in addition to the already exorbitant fee. She took off the charge, but had I not had an app for my card, i may have left there, unaware of the charge. BEWARE!!! IN ADDITION TO THE EXTRA FEES THEY TRIED TO TAKE, THE CARPET WAS FILTHY, LIKE A DIRTY SWEATER ON THE FLOOR. Cranberry Township has many hotels that I have used over the years, I won't be returning to the Residence Inn, Cranberry Township/Pittsburgh By Marriott!

Good breakfast. Nice outside area with fire pit. Clean. But very uncomfortable bed

The room was very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Excellent room. Excellent service. Great breakfast food and servers were very friendly and helpful. Would stay at this hotel again for sure.

My boyfriend and i stayed here for our one year anniversary. They had a nice bathroom a nice living room and bedroom. It was clean. They had a pool and hot tub. You can get snacks but they are extremely expensive. Like 7 dollars for a tiny bag of chips. There is a dollar tree close for snacks. Dominos is also close. Quick and easy check in and check out.

Pros: Exceedingly friendly staff, solid breakfast, Cranberry Township interchange has endless food and shopping options Cons: Property (and room in particular) in desperate need of renovations to bring up to Marriott standards Our one-night stay started off with some good and bad: the front desk employees were extremely friendly and helpful, but I was notified the room I booked was unavailable due to an open window during a storm resulting in soaked carpeting. In exchange for the two-bedroom requested, I was offered two separate rooms or one with window air conditioning units. I accepted the latter and found the situation to be highly inconvenient. Each bedroom had a small unit in the window because the central air in the room was not operational- this meant the common area had no air conditioning, and the bedrooms were filled with noise and sunlight in the morning (because the window units made it impossible to completely close the curtains). In addition, the property itself was in bad need of TLC. The hallway and room carpets were worn, lighting fixtures were broken, and every piece of furniture had a drawer that would slowly open by itself over time. This is not what I have come to expect of Marriott properties. On the plus side, the free breakfast was great and staffed by employees that obviously take pride in their work. The Cranberry Township interchange has a huge assortment of restaurants, stores, and hotels- many of which might be a better option until this Residence Inn's owners invest in a top-to-bottom renovation.

The property was okay. The side door didn't lock has a note that said Exit Only anyone could come and go with no security. Switched rooms multiple times. First the pull-out bed was broken. Then the next room the AC froze and wouldn't cool the room. They shut the AC off and said we will get you fans. I came back later thst day to a room that was 80 degrees. Went to the front desk she was so helpful moved us right away to our third room of our 7 day stay. Lots of things had to be moved multiple times. We were traveling with our special needs son and he requires a lot of things. The beds were uncomfortable. I'm still waiting for my partial refund from Expedia.

Could tell was older facility. 2-bedroom suite. Bed in one room definitely needs replaced. Floors in bathroom & kitchen need scrubbed. Key would not work in front door. Had to go down to lobby to let them know 4 times. Finally maintenance had to replace battery in door lock. Lady at front desk was unpleasant like it was our fault.
