The unit was very nice. It came with all of the amenities of home. The kitchen was fully supplied with anything you need to prepare meals.

We are very discouraged with the lack of hospitality that we received from management. No sooner than we got checked in, my husband got gouged in the arm, penetrating his skin and injuring the nerve beneath the elbow, from a loose spring in the couch. The injury was not severe, but we reported it, nonetheless. We immediately informed front desk and asked for maintenance to come and remove the bulging spring, before a small child got badly injured. It was day 3 before maintenance came by. The maintenance guy was very nice and removed it for us. I couldn’t believe that no member of management ever came by or checked in with us, at least a phone call would’ve been nice. I finally, via hotel texting service, requested a call from management, myself. Skyler, a member of management, replied to me by text, knowing that I requested a simple phone call. She stated that maintenance came and checked on us and deemed my husband ok. As stated above, that was on day 3, that they came by. She apologized for the incident, but was very HR about it, stating phrases that sounded like a handbook excuse. We realize the couch incident was probably a fluke thing and do not blame the hotel for this. It’s the lack of personal communication…HOSPITALITY, that was lacking!!! A text 3 days later??? Very disappointing!!!

As Holiday Inn Club members, we have stayed at many Holiday Inn resorts. This was our first time in a studio, though, and it was a bit disappointing. The room was clean. The kitchenette had a dishwasher, coffee maker, small compact refrigerator and a microwave. The living area had a full size couch and chair, one end table and a 2 piece coffee table. There was a half wall, and behind that was the bed. And that was it. A bed. No nightstands. Nothing. My husband uses a CPAP machine, so we needed some place to set his machine. We ended up using the luggage stand. It had webbing straps, but no hard surface for the machine. We went Macgyver and removed one of the glass shelves from the mini fridge. Voila! A hard surface to support the CPAP machine. As there was only one luggage stand, when I went to sleep I had to put my phone and glasses on the floor next to the bed. Ridiculous!

Very clean and decorated for Christmas was very nice and I love the ocean breeze smell inside the lobby.

There were no windows in our room.

Short staff it took 35 minutes to check in with 1 person in front of us.
