The entry cards into the rooms seemed to be a little tricky.

Iv'e stayed here many times. Every time I come to Elko, I stay here. It's the best value in town.

The thing that makes this place worthy of a nother dstay is the service. The manager went above and beyond to help give us a good stay.

The current door locks are super-temperamental — but apparently are scheduled for replacement in Spring ‘26. Rooms are plenty clean, but could use a bit more cosmetic work.

Inexpensive and downtown sound good on paper but the room wasn't maintained and the area didn't feel safe. Heard gunshots at one point in the evening, at least door locks were functional. Linens musty, bathroom door broken, damage to walls and furniture, light switch did nothing. Minifridge worked, bed wasn't uncomfortable.

The Roadway Inn in Elko, Nevada was a great place to stay. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Four of us stayed in a room with two queen beds, and there was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and feel at ease. The roadway Inn is centrally located right on the main road through downtown Elko, and despite thisour room was very quiet. We all had great sleep! In the mornings, breakfast included coffee and a selection of fruit and muffins, which was perfect for a quick grab-and-go bite before heading out. Conveniently located directly across the street was a great little Mexican restaurant that we enjoyed so much, we ate there twice. The staff made the experience even better. The housekeeping team was extremely thorough, and the front desk staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. A big shout-out to Tanya and Brendan at the front desk, who were consistently helpful and a pleasure to interact with!
