Very comfortable, clean business hotel in a great location. The staff is exceptionally helpful and attentive. Rooms are well-equipped, quiet and spacious, with good lighting (in case one needs to work).

As a place to eat the Library was a disappointment - very small portions, cheese straight out of the fridge. Again the staff was great but the food was disappointing. I did not intend to eat there but the main restaurant was closed on Monday. A strange choice given that a Congress was in town nearby.

Our stay was really poor at this hotel which is such a shame. Firstly, on check in, the woman serving us was rude and unfriendly and it was not exactly clear where the check in desk was. On arrival into the room we noticed straight away how small and unwelcoming the room felt. The shower leaked all over the bathroom causing a flood and there was mould in the shower, bath and around the sink. The toilet was also dirty and stained. Overnight the noise levels were high and we struggled to sleep. Given this poor experience we asked to move rooms in the morning. We were told we can move rooms but we had to dump our bags and leave the hotel until 2 o'clock as no room was ready. The concierge told us they will be taking our bags but they will be putting them into a dirty room and the cleaners can clean around them! Although I understand rooms need to be cleaned this was unsettling and unorganised and no other compensation was offered. We felt really uncomfortable with our bags being in a dirty room. The new room was equally as small and the shower leaked, luckily it did not flood the room like the previous one did. This room also had mould in places and the toilet was again stained! The robes in the new room were also faulty with no ties. We used the spa, but this was very busy and some parts were dirty with present mould. This hotel seems like it is very much geared up to attract young influencers, especially in the spa. They were taking pictures all over the hotel but more noteably were doing so in the spa, including taking videos and being on face time, despite there being multiple signs reminding people that the use of phones is prohibited in the spa/pool area. So if you arent in this category you may feel uncomfortable. Overall, this was not a good stay and is absolutely not worth the money you pay and is definitely not a 5 star! There are other hotels for the same or less money in Manchester you can visit.

Frühstück war excellent. Allerdings sind die warmen Speisen am Buffet auf einem so hohen Tisch platziert, dass ich kaum ran kam, und ich bin mit 1.60 nicht so klein. Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Sehr schöne Gegend, alles sehr gut erreichbar. Sehr gute Restaurants in der Nähe

Das Lichtkonzept und die Ablageflächen im Bad. Es gab in der Suite tatsächlich nur ein Mini-Waschbecken ohne jegliche Ablagefläche und ein Downlight von oben. Unmöglich, sich dort zu schminken. Völlig inakzeptabel.

The pool was nice and bed was comfortable

Should be more clear on when guests must leave our rooms. We were treated poorly on our first night as we had a friend over who was not sleeping but stayed till 10pm. We were spoken to poorly and like children by the night security. The morning staff did apologise but I wont be quick to book this hotel again.
