INCREDIBLE staff! Always looking to please you. Breakfast was great, roof top bar amazing and I liked that you got a blanket if you got cold at night. Close to town to walk.

My daughter got sick one night from eating an apparent gf meal BUT the restaurant was on it for the rest of the time we stayed and made sure all her meals were gf and custom sometimes.

Our second stay in this lovely hotel and it didn't disappoint.The location is stunning with beautiful views over the sea.Lovely pool area with great service for food and drinks sitting by the pool.Breakfast is excellent with a great range of hot and cold options, particularly nice if you get an outside table. Good selection of bars and restaurants in the hotel the Sky Bar is particularly nice for an evening cocktail or a photo opportunity, they serve great sushi and Asian food.The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the centre of Carvoiero and there's a really nice boardwalk along the cliffs for a morning stroll.We found some lovely restaurants in Carvoiero for dinner some standouts were L'Etxea, Chefs Kitchen, Le Cro, Gumtree and Villa Medici. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and will definitely be back.

Once again the Tivoli has not disappointed.  Lovely sea view, friendly staff and great pool service. Sushi bar very good and great for 'selfies' if one ever felt the need ! Tuk tuk into and more importantly back from the village made grazing in the local restaurants [of which there are some exceptional ones] a pleasure. Bar staff a bit sleepy but it was hot and big groups [finance bro's] probably made their life miserable. Will be back next year unless we win the lotto !

A little honest review of our stay… For the price you pay to stay here, we were honestly a bit underwhelmed. We did get upgraded when we arrived, which was appreciated, but our view came with a construction site front and centre. The minibar had a half-empty bottle left behind, our coffee setup had no cups or supplies, and some of the lights in our room weren’t working properly. We were told someone would come back to fix them… but that never happened. Day two, the room was cleaned, but dirty wine glasses and coffee cups were left behind and the coffee bar still wasn’t restocked 😕 Now… the Skye Bar. Definitely go. Definitely grab a drink. Definitely watch the sun go down because the setting is beautiful. But the sushi restaurant? Save your money. The presentation was gorgeous, but the sushi itself was just OK. Service was disappointing and for the price of a glass of wine, you’d hope for more than four sips 🤦‍♀️ We honestly left feeling like the place catered more to the Instagram crowd, who seemed to get plenty of attention… and noticeably more generous pours. Beautiful spot for sunset cocktails? Absolutely. Dinner? We’d totally skip it. 2 people 2 drinks each €200!!! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are generous and very clean, the pool area is fantastic. If only they had painted the decking anything other, but a dark color. Your feet burned instantly standing on the surface. Would we come here again, I don’t think so, to the area absolutely!

The hotel location is phenomenal - it is 15 minute walk to downtown Carvoveiro, it’s a few minutes from walking the boardwalk along the coast, and we got it from the train station by Bolt. That said - the hotel is clean, but feels a little dated for what you are paying. We also upgraded to have the ocean view and we had a “sideways” view of the ocean that was obstructed by construction activity because of a collapsed wall. We were not planning to rely on the hotel as the “key” to million dollar photos, but didn’t feel like the extra cost was worth it. Would reccomend for the location, but don’t set expectations based on price.

We were hear as part of a big celebration and travelled with our young family. The hotel fell down on check-in, room wasn’t ready when we arrived, the ocean view we’d paid for was totally obscured by building work and there was a snake underneath the pool decking which was a constant concern then when the kids were playing.

We spent a few days at this resort and it was beautiful. The views are breathtaking. We upgraded to the ocean and pol view and it was so worth it waking up to the cliff and ocean views every morning. This resort is 10 mins from the beaches both ways and the resort provides a complimentary tuk tuk service to and from the beach which is so convenient. They have an excellent spa and sky bar which we enjoyed in the evenings. The breakfast is incredible!! Everything from your omelets made while you wait to a cakes and pastry corner with the best variety of freshly baked goodies . You get to enjoy this while taking in those stunning views. Staff are super friendly and helpful which was a nice touch . Overall a very beautiful stay and we have already recommended this resort to friends and family hoping to visit the Algarve.
