"High expectations, disappointing reality!"

Location and limited competition in this area provides great opportunity to shine, but this hotel really falls short. Hailed as a 5-star but falls short with basic amenities, hard beds (old spring mattress variety) and an atmosphere with no soul at all. The views from most rooms are outstanding but those on the east side of the property will get a wonderful view of significant ground restoration taking place and noise all day long. So much potential but definitely falls short.

"Fantastic!"

Such a fantastic experience. The Ocean Front View suites really deliver: quite an amazing view! The whole hotel offers a fantastic cliff and ocean view. The suites have quite the perfect size. Very nice balcony. Great breakfast. The Sky Bar is also great. And the lobby bar is a fantastic place to spend time watching the ocean, the cliff, the sky. It is the best hotel of my life.

Spectacular view, loved the comfort of being able to sit on my terrace overlooking the ocean, pool, cliffs and even a cave. Room was comfortable and had everything I needed. There was also great entertainment in the lounge bar in the evening.

A lot of construction in the area which did prevent being able to get either down to the beach and/or up the cliff sides from the property.

"Avoid if you are looking for a relaxing holiday - ongoing construction work adjacent to hotel"

We have just returned from this hotel. Unfortunate experience with ongoing construction work adjacent to hotel from 9.30am to 9.00pm. Constant machinery, beeping, moving of earth and metal cutting makes the pool area, sea view room balconies and outdoor restaurants noisy and not the relaxing experience it should be. Aside from this the hotel has a lot to offer but was not shown in the best circumstances. Hotel confirmed that the construction work is outside their control. Tour operators are not highlighting this to customers in advance so if you wish for a relaxing holiday and have the opportunity to swap accommodation do it before you arrive.
