Glacier Lodge

We had coakroaches in our hotel room. We called the reception. The girl at the reception while being friendly said that she was not responsible for the rooms, that she would just be handling the checkins, and that Resortquest would handle everything else. I left my phone number with the reception and it took resortquest 1h and 15 minutes to get back to me. The male person who called me identified himself as the manager. he was extremely unfriendly, and outright rejected the idea that there would be any cockroaches. I said that I would have pictures and the dead beasts would be in our room. He said that right now no cleaning staff would be available to take care of it and we are probably look at some sort of local Whistler bug. The he hung up on me. I took pictures with my phone and showed them to the girl at the front desk and who called again resortquest. This time we got moved to a different room, which took them and a half hours to organize. resortquest at no point apologized or made any offer for compensation. I have never had before a cockroach in any accommodation in Canada. Resort quest appears to be an extremely unfriendly and incompentent organization that couldn't care less about their guests wellbeing. I told the manager that I would publish my experience on Expedia and he said that he wouldn't care anyway, and that his job would soon be over. I couldn't believe what I heard from this person. I have pictures of the cockroaches for anyone interested.

Stayed in one bedroom with loft. The bedroom has a king size bed and the loft has a queen size bed. There is a double or queen size sofa bed too. It says it can sleep for up to six people, but I think it can hold up to seven. There is a kitchen, fridge and microwave which are convenient. Good location in upper village. We enjoyed our stay there.

Great place for a great price. Great for families. Great pool.

Room was alright. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Dishes weren't clean. On the quiet end of Whistler village which was nice. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. We didn't hang out in our room much really so it was good for what we needed. I have stayed there before but in a different room in a higher floor.

Good experience at this hotel. There were minor issues (no air conditioning, one small window, no toilet paper roll, shower curtain is cloth which is odd) but overall we had a very good experience. Very good location just far enough away from the Whistler Blackcomb bike park so there isn't a huge crowd but still close enough to walk.

Good hotel, no concerns with the stay. Only downside was no air conditioning in our room (and it was a +30 weekend). Fan was provided, which helped, but still made for a warm sleep.

Rented a

Nice room with a big, comfortable bed. The sound proofing is very poor though ... We could hear the noisy neighbours slamming doors, flushing toilets and talking. However, the friendly staff were very quick to sort it out!

This hotel worked out good for me as I had a conference next door at the Fairmont Chsteau. This hotel is right next door less than a minute walk. The Expedia combination flight and hotel was less than just the cost of staying at the Fairmont. The hotel staff were wonderful. The room was a one bedroom apartment with full kitchen and was very good with the exception of no air conditioner and worn linens. They had a fan that helped but the room was not as comfortable as it got too hot. This would not be an issue in the winter. They have a nice pool, the hot tub was great wit nice jets. The fitness room is not well equipped.
