"Room 303 very dated - needs upgrading"

6.0

Room 303 is a very dated property. Furniture is from the 80s. Kitchen poorly stocked - dishes and utensils very cheap ($1 store quality). TV was not programmed correctly - could not play a DVD, or access Netflix. WIFi was intermittent - no clear strong connection over 3 days. This is clearly a revenue rental that needs serious care, and serious updating. BUT, the rent was cheap, and the suite was large.

"lovely aptmt hotel."

10.0

We (family of 4 with teenagers) stayed in a 1 brm suite and were very comfortable. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy the place. Kitchenette was very well stocked with appliances, cutlery, crockery and serving dishes and the sitting area had a homely touch to it with a number of board games available. The pullout queen size bed was firm and very comfortable.(did not feel like a pullout bed).

"Good room and location, but better in winter"

6.0

I would recommend this space for a winter's stay, or anytime that it's not hot out. Up for the weekend on a warm day, the lobby and hallways were warm, not being air conditioned. But the room was unbearable! Must have been over 30 degrees. There were some portable fans available that we were able to set up, but then the whole upper village lost power. 1st night was like a sauna. Other than that, the room was fine. Good location, just 5 minutes walk to main village, anything that you could need in the kitchen, and comfortable beds.

"Nice hotel walking distance to the base of Backcom"

8.0

We stayed in a nice studio room with a full kitchen. Murphy bed was more comfortable than expected. Plenty of room for a studio. Drain in tub was quite sluggish, but otherwise bathroom was nice. Pool area was great, though tile around the pool/hot tub was quite slippery.

"Nice Hotel"

8.0

This was our first time staying in the upper village and we really enjoyed it. The hotel was quiet and had everything we needed. We really liked the scenic 10 minute walk to the main village!

"Wedding stay"

6.0

Here for a wedding. Stayed for two nights. Stayed in room 335. Not knowing what I actually get in terms of a furnished condo, because of the building having individual owners which are booked out by a separate company, I was very impressed. The room was cozy and the beds were very comfortable. It was definitely enough space for a group of 5. Having a condo with a kitchenette I would have expect basic necessities like salt and pepper. Coffee was supplied with coffee mate and sugar which I was happy about. Cleanliness was okay. There was smeared toothpaste on the ensuite door on both sides. Pool towels are free from front desk (visa imprint needed) but make sure you don't lose them. It will cost you $15 per towel for a true quality value of $5. Parking is an additional $15/day. Loved that the loft was enclosed enough to be considered an actual room. No one could see you changing. Downside to the room was it was very dark. It could definitely use some brighter lighting.
