Close to the beach

The hotel was understaffed, it took 45 minutes to check in. Hotel appeared "clean", however my bed was infested with bed bugs. I even changed my clothes because I thought they were itchy! Nope, not even 1 minute back into the bed I was bitten and jumped out. I threw all of my belongings into one bag and threw it all away and drove 4 hours back home in the middle of the night. Don't make my mistake, go somewhere else. I requested a refund and have yet to receive a phone call from the manager of the property.

I didn’t like the fact that the hotel says “sea view” for all of the rooms. When in fact some rooms you cannot see the “sea”. Me and my family were hoping to be able to see the beach and be oceanfront. The description of the room is way off! Staff were helpful and tried to get us in a room that we wanted, but they were full. Not really a complaint our stay was fine, just very mislead by the description of the room.

What we did like about the stay was this location being one of the only 2 bedroom suite options to accomodate my family in one room vs. spending money in booking multiple. Your linen staff were super nice, helpful and friendly!

The pool was advertised as heated, it indeed was not. We were told that the hot tub was broken prior to which was fine but to also get a cold pool was not expected. Apparently there was a music festival on the beach the week prior, there was no communication from the hotel prior to our stay informing guests that we would have to travel 3-4 blocks down to get to the actual beach. I also called and confirmed prior to my stay if we would have a side ocean view room, it was confirmed with the gentlemen I spoke too, that indeed was not true and we got a view of a fishing pier and the road. The floors were filthy in the room prior to use even coming in and out. The staff at the front desk were quite rude to guests, not directly towards me but as you stand and wait for the elevators you can hear how they talk to potential customers over the phone and it was very nasty. I also see how they treated an African American family vs. how they laughed and chatted with a white family. There is a unique odor in the stairwell which made standing and waiting for 5 minutes for the elevator much more worth it than walking to the 4th floor there. I wish that the activities were better advertised and more welcoming with better timing. I didn't participate in the spa, however even if I wanted to, I was unable to find it unfortunately.

It was close to the beach.

It was dirty. Floor was disgusting. I couldn’t even be barefoot or just get in the bed and feel clean. Our lock to the door ended up not working so we had to wait to get our stuff out of our room

Booked oceanfront room with balcony and door handle did not work. Maintenance called and still not able to open. Booked a 4 night stay for the sole purpose of enjoying a ocean front balcony to spend time on and could not. Left on day 3 asked management to contact me and requested a refund on last night. No communication at all no refund terrible experience would not recommend. They do not care about being accommodating.

The staff were nice and friendly very informative when checking in knowing about the local area and what was happening with the upcoming weekend festival. Also having activities onsite daily was a plus. The location was awesome right across the street from boardwalk and beach. So many food options nearby and souvenir shops. There even was a trolley that stopped right in front of the hotel if you walked too much and didn’t want to walk back. It was cleaned and set up nicely. Beautiful view!

The kitchen was nice had all the utensils. Easy access to the boardwalk and activities.

The boardwalk from our hotel was closed off, not easy access to beach. The first day we informed the front desk about air conditioning problem .they did a easy fix but not completely fix it. The jacuzzi was not working.
