Sun City Hotel and Casino

hotel not my first choice, but everything there was good, within easy walking distance of other parts of the resort... so everything ok

This Hotel was book 6 months ahead - On arriving we are told there will be no swimming pool or outside facities as a Golf Championship was on the following week and a build site greeted us outside -

excellent buffet breakfast, friendly staff

Pool was not in working condition. Also staff did not seem to want to help

Could not enjoy breakfast because of all the bees around the food. Had to fend off allot of bees while eating. The room was not four star quality and was very dissatisfied. Had to move rooms because the sliding glass door leading out on the terrace had a broken latch which did not add to our comfort. The sliding door of the bathroom also had a broken latch. Overall the price did not match the expectations.

Staff members at reception were very friendly and efficient. My wife liked the fact that the room was freshened up in the evenings and that there was a good choice at the breakfast buffet.

Definitely not so good

Enjoyable holiday that is only 2 hours outside of jo’burg. Convenient and well located. Kids love the destination. Rooms need a bit closer attention on cleanliness of carpets though. Overall a good stay.

Amazing place to getaway from the daily hustle and bustle. Loved it, will do it again hopefully soon.

Excellent location but standards are slipping. Hotel in need of maintenance in some rooms. The evening turn down service no longer provided. Sad
