Clarendon Square

Staff was superb and the place itself is gorgeous.

Comfortable with a feeling for old Boston, that was our first impression on arriving. Our privacy was respected and our comfort assured by the proprietors and staff.

Pretty good overall, nothing extraordinary. The breakfast selection has a lot of room to improve.

Not sure that I can add to all the other 5 star rating but they are all well desired. It's like living in a meticulous well cared for home. Service and attention to details were exceptional. Just need to be aware that it's a walk-up. Rooms are 2, 3 or 4 floors up. They handle luggage. It wasn't a problem for us but one needs to be aware. Tom & Marcey

Fabulous boutique inn, well located & comfortably appointment. The owners/staff are outstanding and go ‘above & beyond’ to facilitate a great experience in Boston. Highly recommended

I booked for the wrong date (march instead of may). I called 2.5 weeks out but no success. They offered $100 discount but i woulf have to book an extra night. Not accomodating at all. Given the hotel is independant and free of bureaucracy of larger organizations you would think they would be able to adjust. Steven said he wish i had called earlier. It was 2.5 weeks out! While the wrong date was completely my fault, it was an honest mistake and I was willing to pay for it but only $100 discount on 1,200 stay plus the 1,000 being flushed for booking the wrong night is a slap in the face. Im sure its a nice hotel but theres no other way to show my complete dissatisfaction with their unwillingness to make reasonable changes.

We can't say enough about Clarendon Square Bed and Breakfast. We could not have picked a better place to celebrate our anniversary. The inn is beautiful, the location was perfect, and the hosts, Stephen and Bobby were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to help make it a special and memorable weekend for us. We look forward to our next visit.
