SunDestin Beach Resort by Panhandle Getaways

A very enjoyable week!! We loved every bit of it!!

Our stay was fine but the communication of construction and no use of the outdoor pool/splash pad was poor. I wasn’t notified until 2 weeks before with zero chance of a Full refund, they did give me $120 credit. Originally they said i wasn’t going to be able to use our balcony as well, but our room was on the side of the building and we could use it. The condo was comfy but definitely needs some repairs/updating. Sink faucet was very loose, missing baseboards, lots of little things to make it more appealing for guests. Curtains didn’t cover entire patio as well to block light in the morning, and the screen door was ripped. Beautiful view from our patio everyday.

The pools were closed, the hot tubs were closed, I was given a parking-lot view room instead of the ocean -view room I booked, and there were cockroaches in the kitchen. so basically, every one of the reasons I chose this spot was a lie. I checked out within 2 hours of arriving, went down the street to Pelican Beach resort and had a great time.

Found out construction will be a few years !! No pool was available due to the construction and was told it would be available but June 1 2024

Security on property is great improvement to out stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Great beach

The staff was very attentive and professional. We were impressed, we will use them again for our next vacation!!

It’s right on the water

Room was not cleaned and there were broken that were not replaced after notification and no one came to replace them.

The rental itself was in poor condition showing a lot of wear and need of upkeep. I had to go purchase liquid plumber just to get the shower to drain properly. Shower curtain was disgusting. Missing seven shower hooks barely there crooked installed shower rod just overall condition of the place was barely OK Downstairs was not helpful at all all
