Bed sheets was not clean and smelled bad. The bed cover was a very thin flimsy blanket. Someone was cooking near or at the back of the hotel reception. The reception had a very strong curry odor.

Great older hotel, nice clean comfortable room with excellent customer service.

The place was nice, and they have nice staff members there, and the housekeeping,are so go at there jobs, and the Wifi is the best there, and the place there is good for ride bikes, and run around the place.

Clean and though no frills, the bathroom looked updated and all was solid Would stay there again if needed. Within a block of Starbucks, too

Very helpful, friendly staff welcomed us to East Greenbush. Rooms are a good size and always very clean. The hotel is located so it is an excellent base for visiting anywhere in the Albany area and Eastern Massachusetts with easy access to the Interstates. Close to restaurants and shopping. We stay here several times a year and no matter what the season, the stay is great.

We usually stay here twice a year before a cruise. We have liked it...it is clean, convenient, and the staff is friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, this was the second stay where the room was freezing. The first time it was sub zero out, so we chalked it up to that. This time, normal winter cold. They have newer heaters in the rooms that are not powerful enough. We cranked it to 86, and it still took HOURS to get maybe 60 something. Could not even shower...just far too cold. They do not warm the rooms before you arrive either. We had to leave and come back to stay warm. So, I would still recommend this place in mild weather...but not in the winter.

The place smelled like smoke. The smoke detector had been ripped off the ceiling and not replaced. Duck tape was holding the light fixtures together. Vent was covered in cobwebs. Extra toilet paper on the window ledge. Mini fridge on the stained carpet. Need I go on?

Property was Open and well kept with plenty of parking. Room was very nice clean and recently updated. Also had a nice HD TV, refrigerator and microwave. We had a King Size bed which very comfortable and clean. This is a nice place to stay and you can't beat the price.

Nothing special, ordinary, basic, clean and efficient. Good value.

Keeping in mind that this is a very inexpensive hotel, I really only care about three things. Is it clean, is it safe, and is it quiet. This checks all of those boxes. Yes, it’s very basic. Although some of the furniture is a little beat up, it felt completely clean, and there was no mold or dust (a common problem in this class of hotel). One warning is that the shower took a good 5-7 minutes to get warm. I just thought the hot water didn’t work and took a cold shower before realizing it just takes forever to warm up. The one minor complaint is that they use those annoying low flow showerheads that were popular 10 years ago, that don’t really work very well. Hey, for this price, I’ll take what I can get.
