Thank you team that was a wonderful stay and I now have a happy wife .Your hotel was simply gorgeous,with lovely rooms,helpful reception,very good housekeeping team.We loved the food and drink with a memorable dinner on our last night .my wife loved her spa treatment and the gardens were a treat .

Was so looking forward to going here and it didn’t disappoint. Amazing gardens food and staff. Would def go again . Rooms were really clean and comfy bed . Loved it thanks to everyone there . They brought a bottle to the room when I mentioned it was our 30 anniversary together ♥️

We stayed in a lovely suite with plenty of space. Excellent breakfasts. The gardens are stunning. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful massage.

The spa could be more extensive, and an indoor pool would be a very good addition. Dinners could have been of a higher quality.

This hotel is absolutely incredible - I never rate hotels, it really deserves it. The listing and photos really don’t do it justice at all! The staff are incredible, no detail is too small, they think of everything before the guest does! Just wonderful!

If you weightlift, the dumbbells in the gym only go up to 10kg but you can pour yourself a cup of mint tea …. That’s the only think I can find wrong 🤣

If you want somewhere quiet with lovely gardens and great food then this is for you! Staff are all wonderful and helpful. So why only 3 stars? Sadly it was too quiet for us, absolutely no atmosphere and nowhere to relax in a lounge with a drink and chat. The communal areas are well furnished and 4-5 star but completely devoid of any atmosphere. Ate in the standard dining room where service and food was excellent and the same in the more formal Dining Room. But after eating there is nowhere to go and relax with an after-dinner drink. So back to the pretty tired bedroom - ours was in the old wing. Perhaps the newer double storey block is better. Had a superb meal in the Dining Room and the adjacent lounge was beautifully furnished but no one else there, no music, no hear/fire. Just dead. Service and setting and garden all 5 star, rooms 3 star at best. Such a disappointment. Drinks esp wine very overpriced. Good location with restauarnts within walking distance.

Quinta da Casa Branca is a truly amazing hotel. This was our first trip to Madeira and this hotel made the experience very special. Everything about the hotel is above expectations, even for experienced travelers. The location is simply unbelievable. You are truly living in the middle of a beautiful botanical garden, surrounded by nature and tranquility. Breakfast is superb and comes with a view that is more than amazing. It may be one of the most beautiful views you can imagine and it makes every morning feel special. The team is wonderful, always polite and attentive to every detail in order to create a perfect stay. The resident manager Cristina Martins and the front office manager Fabiana Pita are especially kind and make sure that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. The hotel also has two wonderful restaurants. One of them is located in a historic villa in the heart of the botanical garden. It is a true gem and a place not to miss when staying here. Quinta da Casa Branca is a place that makes you feel relaxed, welcome, and already looking forward to returning.

Top location, and set in wonderful mature gardens Breakfast pavilion excellent Quinta restaurant very good - and upstairs particularly attractive Bedroom was very good - modern oak finishes, and very good size in premium room

Dinner in the ‘old mansion’ was rather expensive - michelin style ‘arty’ food in very tired 1950’s surroundings and drab decor
