Leisure Inn Penny Royal Hotel & Apartments

Location was good,clean room,helpful staff, presentation was nice

Unfortunately the drains in our apartment smelled quite bad,putrid really, we had to go to the supermarket to buy room fresheners to mask the smell,which made our stay a little unpleasant, we were disappointed, as the rest of the facilities were great.

Great little apartment

We had a great stay at Penny Royal Hotel and Apartments. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was very cozy, and the location was convenient. The staff were friendly and the overall experience was excellent.

There was nothing in particular we didn’t like about our stay at Penny Royal Hotel and Apartments. Everything met our expectations and the experience was enjoyable from start to finish. The room, bed, and facilities were all comfortable and well maintained. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would return again.

Good location, comfortable room, good value

Would be good if bathroom had exhaust fan.

We stayed in 346. Steep stairs with narrow steps - bathroom is on bottom level, creaky stairs and floor. Big step to get into shower (shower over bath). There was no happy medium with the water it was scalding hot or freezing cold. So the kids had to have baths. The worst was you can not flush the toilet if someone is in the shower as it goes scalding hot lucky it happened on the adults. To use the kitchen table you had to move it off the wall to use the seats and then push it back to have a walk way to couch. Had to put the screen in properly however were ripped. There was rubbish behind the bathroom door so not cleaned well. We left this property early. Will not return.

How close the Motel was to the gorge so that hubby and I could go for a walk on a Sunday morning. It was also pretty close to the city so you could get around pretty easy, The room itself was real cosy.

The bed was a little bit on the hard side so I woke up pretty sore with aches and pains, and in the morning when someone took a shower the pipes would literally scream (Only because it was in the older section of the motel)
