Ocean Forest Villas by Elliott Beach Rentals

Conveniently located across street from beach. As represented in pictures. Easy check-in. Didn't use anything in kitchen, only there for 2 days.

We rented from Elliott Realty condo 209a ocean forest villas . As soon as you opened the door the smell hit you. We complained at the office they sent someone to check and agreed so they had a company come in to clean the carpets and also furniture (that we couldn't sit on for a couple days till they dried as well as the carpet) the whole condo smelled like a wet dog till everything dried. They also brought in a ozone machine to try to get rid of the smell. The toilet broke twice they sent someone to fix it and it broke again so I fixed it myself the towel rack fell off the wall I fixed that also the refridgerator had mold around the seal that my wife cleaned the kitchen was filled with sticky dirty pots, pans, plates,and utensiles so everything we used we had to wash first. (good thing we eat out on vacation) My wife cleaned for 4 hours when we arrived. When it was time to leave we stripped the beds to put with the towels and found blood stains on the matress cover my wife almost puked. Elliott Realty did refund us $ 190.00 for the cleaning deposit (big deal) They advertise that they inspect all they rentals to ensure they are clean? We are not picky people but for the money $2500 we spent we were not happy. the ocean is beautiful but not this condo. We have stayed at another condos in the same complex through a private owner and it was fantastic. the beach in this area is great and never over crowded.

Gail has made the use of their condo about as convenient as any guest could want. The condo is very well kept and nicely appointed. If there's something you might need for you stay, most likely, it's already on hand waiting there for you. The unit has two bedrooms, a master bedroom and a guest bedroom. the guest bedroom has a double bed and a twin trundle that rolls out from underneath it. The master bath is a 3/4 bath with a sink, toilet and walk-in shower. The guest bath is a full bath with a tub/shower combo, sink, and toilet. The balcony is situated with seating for 4 at a high top table with two chairs and two stools. The other units may or may not be as well appointed but Gail's readiness to make sure you have an enjoyable experience is certainly the icing on the cake for your stay.

E206 is a dump,mold,mildew,filth infested life and lung endangering pig sty.Stay away from Ocean Forest and Oceanfront guru. You can smell the building has issues from the parking lot. We are out our vacation money plus having to locate a place to stay for double the cost. We will never ever return to dirty Myrtle. Had no idea that it meant filth and scum bag landlord. Spoke with the Oceanfront guru office staff on a couple of occasions and was told everything would be good. Liars.I hope they sleep well knowing what they have done to good people. God have mercy on them and the owners of this disgusting nasty place. Dirty pillows,dirty covers,mold on the sheets,rusted microwave...the list goes on and on.The pictures do not do it justice. If you want to die from toxic mold just go there!

I have a spine injury and could have handled no elevators, until I realized that there were no wheel chair ramps to get to the second floor unit. Then, we lugged all of our belongings up 3 flights of steps. Just hard stools in the kitchen. You cannot hardly get into the bedroom closet to hang your clothes. There is not enough room and the beds are scooted up close to the closet wall. This condo will work you harder than most...from doing your own coin laundry, to getting just one set of the bare minimum of towels...the first day of your stay. Need more towels? Go pay to wash and dry them down the hall. We left 3 days early because quite frankly, it was more work than it was worth...We didn't mention it to the owners until after we left because...seriously, what are they going to do about the hard bench seating or the lack of ramps to carry our stuff upstairs? I doubt, much. That being said, I did write and let the owners know that we had left early. At that point, we never once asked for a dime back. We accepted that WE had made a mistake. Until the owner's sister accidentally copied me on two emails from her husband. The way she spoke about me was unbelievable. She called me a "complete idiot" to her brother and told him to stop communicating to me. Neither she or the owners had ever spoken to me, other than via email. This was a waste. I highly recommend you look further. We rented this unit on VRBO. Save your hard-earned money.

Do not rent this unit!!! We are actually owners of a unit at ocean forest villas. We rented this unit for our selves while our daughter’s family stayed in our unit. It was awful. Totally out dated. Water damage on paneling in several rooms. One area of the living room floor feels like the sub flooring is completely rotten beneath. The floor sinks way down when you step on it! It’s just awful. Even maintenance staff came in to check floor and were amazed at how bad it was! Sofa in living room is horrible! Terribly worn and uncomfortable (and not same sofa pictured). AC units are still window units instead of upgraded to central air. Loud and hard to regulate temperature . Also, constantly blows hot air onto balcony so not pleasant sitting out there to enjoy view. I was afraid one of the twin bed frames was going to break completely. It was in terrible shape. This unit is in terrible condition and is not comfortable at all to stay in. Stay away from it!

The rooms were a bit dated, but cozy. It was slightly difficult getting into the room with the keypad. Checking into the room after hours was painless. LOVED the view of the beach!

Our stay was an excellent break from the challenging time we’re going through. We stayed in an ocean front condo on the third floor and the view and quietness were splendid! Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the villa. We walked to the beach and people were following the social distancing rule. The places is pack with everything. Glasses, coffee mugs, plates, We definitely be back again and I’ll recommend you stay here.
