Room was very old-tiles falling off the bathroom -room wasn’t ready by 4pm

Location and all the pools for the kids.

Blood stains in our room. Clogged drains. Beds were absolutely uncomfortable could feel the strings in the mattress. Neighbors had cock roaches. Floors were disgusting. Fireworks all night. People fighting outside all night. Towels had small hairs all over them.

The staff were really nice

It took me 30 minutes to find parking and i had to park on the highest floor, just to find out that the elevator didn't work. I traveled still Dc with my 1yr old and my husband. The building smelled like weed, the room was very disgusting. My experience was so bad that i left 30 minutes after checking in.

I liked the location. I was traveling alone with my children, so it was nice to be in a location that was not as populated and with a lot of other families. This was a resort, so everything was on the property: breakfast, lunch, dinner, pools, nightlife, live entertainment, drinks, deck, so if you wanted to come and not have to leave the hotel, this was good.

There was live music EVERY NIGHT, and after a long day out in the sun, we really couldn't get to sleep until after 11 pm each night. The hotel was not as clean as I would have liked. The floors were nasty, and we had to clean out the tub before we showered. The coffee maker was not usable since it had not been cleaned prior to use. There were no bugs, which I was thankful for, but I did basically have to clean the room in order to be comfortable enough to stay. Attention to detail would benefit this cleaning staff (wiping countertops, end tables, and actually mopping the floors); it was like a surface-level clean. Could be due to short staffing at a hotel of that size? I don't know if money is an issue, but I just noticed little things. (rice in the bottom of the salt shakers in the Windows Restaurant). Landlord special painting of the tables, lumpy beds, and pillows. Check-in was easy, but we checked in late, and the bar downstairs was LIVE on a Thursday. They do open it to the public, so there were some strange, drunk randoms in and around the lobby. And the parking garage was terrible. Very tight and not enough spaces. It seems that, somehow, either the randoms were able to get in or guests with multiple cars, we had to make sure to return early if we left to get a spot in the parking garage directly in front, otherwise you would have to go to the one across the street.
