"If you’re looking for entertainment, this place is not for you."

The atmosphere was festive. It was very clean and well maintained. However, if you’re searching for some gambling excitement for the money you’re willing to spend, this is not the place for you. Otherwise, the food was good, the employees were nice, and the room was clean and pretty. But, again, there was no gambling fun whatsoever. Very disappointing for me and my husband.

Beds and pillows are great.

Too much smoking. Smoking section of casino is right in front of hotel elevators that doesn't make sense. Smell of pot through out is disgusting. No shows at night on Thursday nights anymore. We always enjoyed the comedy. Also buffet only opens on weekends.

"Fun/Safe/Exciting"

This was our 1st time at the Borgata. We usually stay at the Atlantic Palace or Flagship Resort. This review will be extensive: We booked thru expedia for a Classic King. When we arrived we were told they were out of classic King & only had a double Queen. Upon a further search they had 1 classic king on the 3rd floor. The queen was on the 32nd floor. We took tQueen. Room was clean. Has a refrigerator and no microwave. Non smoking room. There is a sit in shower and no tub. There is a 50 inch tv. No issues with the room. Very clean. Comfy bed. Not outdated but not modern either. We usually stay at cheaper spots. With that being said, the Borgata is great. They have an indoor pool that any age can enjoy. There's an outdoor for 21 and over only. They have a lot of restaurants. Food is costly (to us). The Borgata buffet is about $25 per person on weekdays and about $33 or $34 pp on the weekends. That's for breakfast/brunch.The buffet is amazing. There's everything you can imagine. I really mean that. We didn't do the Borgata dinner buffet only because we'd be so stuffed from breakfast. As I stated, that's the Borgata buffet. There are other restaurants to eat at such as a steakhouse, etc. But, we didnt eat at any of those on this visit. When we got hungry we'd go to the 24/7 food hall. It had fast food type options and a little store where you could get dessert. I wouldn't take kids because it's a casino and I'm not sure what there is to do with kids besides the pool. However, for kids that may be enough! And i did see wuite a few kids. Beautiful hotel. An exciting time. Will go back and check out their club. I think they have two and some of the other restaurants. I highly recommend.
