Kyoto style small inn Iru

The staff was very lovely and welcoming.

Great location, but there is only one shower shared across 5 rooms, and 2 bathrooms, all outside of your room (outdoors). The room looks ok but thin walls and very steep second floor steps for big suitcases. We ended up booking another hotel the same night as our check-in for much cheaper and with much more comfort. I know it's a roykan and it has tradition, but making sure things like the outdoor bathroom is clearly visible on Booking.com is important (it's hidden in 3rd place under the bathroom category).

It’s a lovely traditional house out of the very touristy area but not too far from Gion for example. The tatami room was nice and very comfortable, my back loved it!

The only downside was that it was quite cold when I was there in December and the bathroom was outside and room was cold (air on had to be on at all times when inside) but easily solved by going to the onsen in front of the house :)

お手洗い左側が、ウォシュレットが使えなかった。 何か操作が必要だったのかな？

È situato in un quartiere troppo carino, calmo e con qualche ristorantino da provare (chiudono quasi tutti presto). La posizione è buona, ci sono le fermate dei bus a 5 minuti a piedi e forse anche una metro che però noi non abbiamo preso. La colazione è essenziale ma non manca niente, si consuma in una stanza comune dove si incontrano gli altri ospiti e questo rende l'esperienza interessante. La nostra camera era grande.

I servizi e la doccia sono fuori come ampiamente pubblicizzato sull'annuncio, in inverno potrebbe fare un po freddo ma ci adatta facilmente. Tutto era comunque molto pulito.

2度目の利用でしたが、京都に帰る場所ができた気分になれる、すてきなお宿です。朝ごはんにパンを選んで、コーヒーを淹れて、ここに暮らしているようにゆっくり過ごせました。

今回は2階のお部屋だったので、お酒を飲んだ際に急な階段から落ちないように気をつけた点、笑 良くない、というよりアドバイスとして 足の悪い方は1階をお願いしましょう。

観光地からは離れているが、京都の普段暮らしが体験できる宿です。 真如堂で紅葉を堪能して浄土寺のランチ場所まで徒歩で丁度良い散歩コースでした。 朝食に用意してくれるパンと炒り番茶など、オーナーの愛が感じられます。

特にありません。 階段が急だったり、お部屋の暖房が温まるまで時間がかかったりも、京都の町家暮らしらしくて、良いと思いました

住宅街の中だがロケーションがよく、スタッフの方のアドバイスやガイドブックや本などを参考に付近の散策ができた。ほかの滞在の方々も静かに過ごされていて、落ち着いた京町家の雰囲気が感じられる印象深い滞在で、いい時間が過ごせた。
