Posada Mariposa Boutique Hotel

Our room was on the 4th floor but closest to the street, which is VERY loud. The party did not die down until ~2am. This would have been fine except we had an early start the following morning - I would not have stayed here had I have known and would have done well to read the comments more. It is very close to the nightlife so if you're looking for that then it would be okay. There was no hot water in the morning.

The pros - Staff was very nice and helpful. Staff showed to be always smiling and interested in showing you care if you have questions. Good hot water in the shower that lasted for a while. Restaurants , pharmacies and local stores just about steps anywhere you go. Cons- very hard beds , we did find a roach in the shower , running water from the toilets all night , no laundry room , microwave to your access. No parking and if your trying to rent a car is so crazy in the streets. It’s about a hour away from the airport. It can get very load with all the local bars. Breakfast can be very small so they offer you to upgrade for a cost. Rooms need a little more tlc. All restaurants near by take so long to get your food ready even just to get drinks. Omg. !

All is good here, great staff and good value for money. The breakfast is not muffins and coffee, it is high quality at an expensive restaurant nearby, and worth it. I had the breakfast after I checked out and it was like 250 pesos. One problem is the noise. Sounds travel from the party on avenida quinta and in between rooms. Get earplugs and this is one of the best value hotels you will find. Interior looks beautiful with many plants.

Location is great. It is a bit noisy because of the restaurants and bars up till like 13 am and in the morning it will get noisy too . But if you don’t mind it’s a great place

The location is central, with a lot of noise. The room was like motel room, old, dirty walls and shower. Besides the staff, I was disappointed with the hotel. It is not 3*.
