Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge

Very close to wedding location (closest accommodation) Breakfast was amazing, included in room fare. Huge breakfast

The bedding configuration wasn’t what we paid for (2 queen beds were booked but received one king bed and we had to sleep with our toddler in the same bed). They let us know that the configuration had changed via email and said there was a travel cot available in our room but we didn’t have one in our room when we got there. We got back late from wedding and didn’t chase this up. We did ask for an early check in but we were running late and they didn’t charge us for it, which was amazing.

Staff were lovely, just doing the best they could whilst they have renovations going on.

Some of the facilities were a bit iffy during construction. Also much of the main ammenities were closed such as the pool and spa for Reno’s too. Hopefully this shouldn’t be for too much longer.

Location and views were great.

For accommodation on the lower level there are too many steps to carry bags and cases down and up. Access should be via a path at the same level as the lower car park. Particularly bad for elderly couples.

Noisy room, water heater going off all night and thin walls to neighbouring room

Just one night at clear mountain is all it takes to refresh and rejuvenate! We hit the day spa for 90 min, had dinner and brekkie in the restaurant and breathed. So close too!

Lovely location. Private, clean and comfortable. Food was delicious!

Wifi was hopeless!
