Oak Motel Palo Alto

The beds were comfortable but had foot prints or some kind of black marks all around the bottom/lower portion of the bed. The walls in the room were dirty, such as coffee splattered on the wall near the small coffee maker and in other spots as well. The bathroom seemed clean enough but the wall near the bottom of the tub was rotted/broken out and definitely needs to be repaired. We did stay but would be more careful next time when booking a room online.

Lights didn't work right, tv was terrible. Very spotty reception. A/C was poor and blew up the curtains. Furniture was terrible. Looked about 80 years old. As usual you get what you pay for, if you're lucky.

The mattresses were comfortable and a heated pool was good, lots of parking spaces The room smelled and a lot of stains on the carpet and the beds, they won't provide you towels unless they get the used ones back first...lack of English speaking staff....

The room smelled and the carpet is dirty with a lot of stains, the Bed has a lot of stain as well, the desk and the dresser are really old ... Asked for extra towels and the staff didn't provide it unless they get back the used towels!!! The refrigerator was good the mattresses were comfortable, a lot of parking spots and a heated pool...

This was definitely one of the worst properties I’ve stayed in for the money. Let’s start with the roaches in the bathroom every day. The furniture was extremely old and damaged. I never seemed to get towels or toilet paper (however when I asked housekeeping she was extremely nice and provided items). Air conditioner was filthy and made me wonder what air I was breathing. The bed was fairly comfortable and the tv was huge. Internet seemed to work ok although it dropped me on multiple occasions. The location was great but I thought a property in Palo Alto would have been a lot cleaner and more up to date.

Last minute stay for a Stanford visit. Check in was very easy and pleasant. Same district as a lot of other hotels. Felt safe. Well lit and easy to park. Room is dated but didn’t expect much for the price. It was clean but again just old. Nothing overly off putting.

It was a good stay. Everything was fine. At that price, you can't beat it.

This property has to the words of my stays, AC units not working, horrible bed sheets old, furniture in the room ancient, laps in room terrible condition. The room smells as you walk in.

Check in was covid 19 protocols hard to speak to check in person let alone hear him talk like I could hear him behind the check-in window with the only opening for communication was a 2 inch by 8 inch opening at the bottom. Heck the hotel next door was wide open and their check in open and airy with 2 people at the desk. Lobby was closed with no access day or night not very inviting. The AC in my room greeted me with a pool/large puddle of water on the floor when I woke up the next morning. Other that that Linen & Towels were wonderful. They were very helpful to me & I appreciate it very much.

It was good . For the money, the best have ever stayed at . Room was clean and inviting . The three-day stay peaceful.
