Rooms are updated and clean. Decorated nicely for Christmas. Common areas were very clean. Close to shopping and not far from the lake or downtown Mt. Dora.

Easy check in process, however the staff was on his cell phone much of the time and actually checked me is as someone else w/ my same last name, quickly corrected but in a day with cybersecurity issues it made me uncomfortable. Same upon check out, staff on cell and unconcerned with your departure. Staff did not seem knowledgeable about the area and could not make recommendations for dinner. Kids were running up and down the hallway in the early morning unattended.

The agent at reception, Samuel, started off our wonderful peaceful stay with a warm, welcoming spirit - it almost felt like he was welcoming us home. We were meant to only stay one night but because we felt so welcomed and comfortable in our rooms, that we extended for an additional night. With fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room, it really felt like home. The breakfast which is included was also hearty for a good start to your day. I would recommend for a stay with easy parking and close enough to places like Mount Dora, Eustis and Orlando without the "busyness". In proximity to good eateries too.

I couldn't think of anything, except that one customer service agent was not as nice and welcoming as Samuel.
