The family who owns the hostel is lovely and speak a perfect English. The hostel is in a quiet neighborhood, on top a hill so you do need to climb a bit to get there. The kitchen had all the necessary to cook simple meals, and free coffee/tea. You will have really good advice from Helena and his son to go around the city and enjoy your time.

The accommodation is in Cerro Bellavista. It is very cosy and relaxed there. There are restaurants and a nice bar. The accommodation is great. Very helpful hosts! At the beginning there were great and extensive sideseeing tips. I would come again any time.

The way to the centre is not that far, but I didn't want to walk it several times a day. Alternatively, there are buses and Uber is also a good option.

Andrei is an excellent host. He communicated often via WhatsApp. Check-in was smooth. He was very helpful in orienting us to Valparaiso. Maps were available. Overall, a very comfortable and satisfying stay.

We loved the homely feel of this place. The room was very comfortable and modern! All of the facilities were excellent, including a well equipped kitchen. It is fantastic value for money!

Andre was really helpful and a really friendly guy with some good recommendations. great option for the price. would stay again.

nothing really. only thing I’d say is if you are a light sleeper maybe bring some earplugs as there can be some outside noise in the mornings but nothing too loud.

hosts were extremely friendly, very responsive on chat with any questions we had. Spoke very good english and even gave us an exhaustive walk through of the town and attractions to visit. shower was hot, kitchen was comfortable to use, wifi was useable.

no heaters, very cold room at night in winter (8 deg C outside), also had to pay 5 USD for parking.
