Felix Hotels - Hotel La Coluccia

We loved the Staff because they are very friendly and helpful people. All employees made our stay better with their suggestions and advice for sightseeing, restaurants, beaches, etc. Kudos to Manager Massimiliano, Irene, Barbara, Elena and others at Reception; Restaurant Staff members Claudio, David, Gianluca, Giusseppe, Giovanni, Alessandro, Erica and Enzo at the Bar. Outstanding food; the Breakfast Buffet was never ending, well coordinated by David, with something for everyone, and all very attentive to provide plenty of coffees and juices at the table. The food selections at dinner were exquisite gourmet level servings with different menu choices every day and Claudio ran the show like clockwork. The Hotel's parking lot is very small but there is other parking available nearby within walking distance. Housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping the nice room clean and well stocked with fresh towels, shampoos, soaps and other amenities. We were comfortable in our room but wished the bathroom exhaust fan was less noisy and the air conditioning easier to maitain at cooler levels. The property is in a beautiful location, with well maintained grounds and outside facilities such as swimming pool, beach chairs, beds, etc. We wished the beach was more conducive to swimming and snorkeling, but the was a lot of sargasum, algae, stones that kept us from trying it more than once. There are other great beaches with clear water and sandy bottoms, such as Rena Bianca in Santa Teresa di Gallura which we enjoyed several times. Overall, we found La Coluccia to be a very good place to spend our week vacation in mid September, sharing experiences with the exceptional Staff, savoring scrumptious food and using the location as a base to visit the marvelous Costa Esmeralda in Sardinia, Italy.

Nothing much "not to like", but we were disappointed by the beach at La Coluccia. However, we found other nearby beach locations to our liking.

Deutlich überteuert für mittelmäßigen Standard, Sehr unfreundlicher Kellner! Zimmertür mit Lücken, die so groß sind, dass man fast durchschauen konnte, keine Handtuchhalter im Bad, Man durfte nur drinnen frühstücken, selbst auf Nachfrage draußen essen nicht möglich. Als wir am ersten Tag einen Kellner gefragt haben, ob wir nicht draußen frühstücken könnten, war dies möglich, allerdings wurde man draußen quasi ausgesperrt, man musste klopfen, um wieder reinzukommen, weil ein anderer sehr unfreundlicher Kellner die Tür von innen zugemacht hat, angeblich wegen Wespen, wir haben draußen genau eine gesehen, an den nächsten Tagen hat uns der unfreundliche Kellner nicht gestattet, draußen zu frühstücken, Frühstück war ansonsten ok. An einem Tag hat die Putzfrau mein privates Handtuch weggeräumt und eine halbe Pizza, die wir uns aus einem Restaurant mitgenommen haben, in den Hausmüll geworfen. Als wir die Putzfrau zufällig gesehen haben und unseren Pizzakarton neben ihr im Müllsack lag, haben wir sie kurz drauf angesprochen und die Putzfrau hat uns freundlich unsere Pizza aus dem Müll wieder angeboten, irgendwie eine skurrile Situation für so ein teures Hotel. Als wir das beides an der Rezeption gemeldet haben, zeigten die sich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben kostenlos einen Burger essen können und mein Handtuch lag am Abend auch wieder gewaschen in unserem Zimmer. Insgesamt aber ein deutlich zu teures Hotel für den Standard, auf keinen Fall 5 Sterne wert.

The staff was amazing, they were always there to help and payed a lot if attention every day at any occasion. The private beach was unreal, with amazing view, not crowded at all. Pool was good as well. Wanted to highlight the food in the restaurant, it was superb!

The door in our room was not working properly for couple of days, but the staff reacted very quickly and suggested the replacement of the room.

The staff and location are phenomenal! Great hosts and so accomodating. The view of the beach is stunning. We felt very lucky to be there. Beautiful! We had the best sleep and the beds are incredible. Andreas and Maximilian thankyou for making our stay so special.

Great location. Smaller boutique type hotel. Staff super helpful. Rooms clean etc with coffee machine. Hotel exceeded our expectations it was great.

Nothing to dislike

Pro: Nice room, comfortable bed, clean and fresh everywhere, well managed, well taken care or, friendly staff, close to beach, quiet and relaxed. Facilities are great, nice pool area, boat rental literally at end of hotel property. Con: breakfast fairly basic for a 5-star hotel, spa part not fully developed yet (still work in progress) Too much service is bad service, they checked room I think 3-4 times a day. Kept knocking to see if I needed new towels. It became annoying and they didn’t provide ”do not disturb” sign. Same in restaurant, nice when waiter checks in on you, asks if meal is nice. 5th-6th time it’s annoying. Let me enjoy my meal. They had the sign in bathroom, “we are environmentally friendly, we only change towels if you leave on floor” Yet they changed towels multiple times a day although I had them hung. Apart from hotel, nothing nearby within walking distance. Any other restaurants, bars, etc is 10-20 min drive.
