Felix Hotels - Hotel La Coluccia

This was a return visit for us as we first came 11 years ago and saw many changes. The location is stunning as it overlooks the bay and there are sun beds exclusive to the hotel overlooking the sea. The Manager Massimiliano was always on hand to answer queries and to help and his restaurant choices were reliably good and all taxi journeys booked for us as well as dinner reservations. He had a remarkable resemblance to Stanley Tucci and took the teasing in his stride!

We felt the hotel was rather tired overall and our junior suite for the cost was in need of an update eg stains on the sofa bed. Also there was debris visible from our room which we understood later from the Manager Massimiliano was due to a revamp overrun. We experienced a few problems from the start of our stay. The suite we booked wasn’t available on arrival so we were allocated a smaller room for the first night and eventually relocated the following afternoon not a good start. Dinner was complimentary on the first night however. A pair of trainers lost in the transfer. The bar was not fully manned meaning a long wait for a drink. Restaurant service not always as it should be.

Liked the location. Nice pool area. Beautiful dining-room. Helpful and friendly staff all around. Everything attentively supervised by the hotel manager, who was seen everywhere to check on things and interact with guests.

Schöne Außenanlage und Strand, freundliches Servicepersonal. Sehr guter Zimmerservice. Abendessenauswahl sehr eingeschränkt, teilweise unfreundliche Bedienung, gehetzte Atmosphäre. Die Anlage wirkt in die Jahre gekommen, Dusche und Bad im Zimmer sind beengt, das Waschbecken ist ein Witz. Das WC hat einen unangenehmen Geruch verströmt. Ziemlich wackeliges Internet. Nette Strandbar, die aber nicht zum Hotel gehört.

As the above marks show the stay was brilliant, immaculate! Location, views, service, catering, food, sun beds, beach, staff - all outstanding!

Great hotel with fabulous service. Unfortunately a little isolated and food at onsite restaurant unimpressive. Nonetheless, a trip into town is not too far, although expensive by taxi.

This hotel is a run down mess not worthy of four stars. Staff was likeable, housekeeping was great. Don’t ask for anything sent to the room; they wanted to charge $50 euros to sent a bucket of ice to the room. That service is laughable and ridiculous. We were nickled and dimed our entire stay. We will pass on this motel the next time we are in Sardinia. Terrible place overall.

The room was not renovated and the shower was very old, but the area outside was beautiful. The pool was very nice. Also the staff was very professional and friendly. Very good service.

Small and expensive rooms. Beautiful beach with overhanging trees, but slightly ruined by a large pile of trash at one end of the garden. The food is fair but nothing great. Cleaners and gardeners make a lot of noise banging around in the mornings. Water pressure in the rooms is a bit low, resulting in showers being a bit of a drizzle. Certainly a beautifui location, but left feeling like the hotel could do better for the price.
