Butterfly Grove Inn

Cool spot, friendly staff, clean rooms.

The room was extremely spacious, parking wasn't an issue, the little walk behind the Inn was beautiful. Definitely would be booking again!

There wasn't much at all really that we didnt like, actually it was one of the best stays we had in a long time!

Excellent location in Pacific Grove right next to the Monarch Sanctuary, and walkable to shops and restaurants, as well as the coastline paths. The room was fairly large and very quiet and comfortable. Very friendly staff!

The room is dated and show signs of wear. There was a smell in the room and no AC

Check-in was very easy and the location was great. This is the first time we’ve had to cancel a stay due to a problem with a room but were glad they agreed to waive cancellation fees without issue.

When we got to our room, there were horrible pet waste odors in the hallway and in the unit itself. The windows had been cracked and an air purifier had been turned on, so it was clear the staff were aware of the problem but likely hadn’t had time to do a proper deep clean. We would have preferred being alerted in advance that there was a problem with our room with some alternative properties with vacancies recommended.

Room temperature had to adjust. Where was the thermostat ? One wall gadget turned on the fireplace. Was that the central heating for the room? Confusing.
