Four Seasons Resort Langkawi

I loved four season Langkawi. The room were great, comfy, large, and had the outside shower and jacuzzi. The hotel has only two restaurants, Malaysian and western grill. The Malaysian restaurant was amazing. We couldn’t swim in the sea as it was forbidden. What I disliked was two things 1- pool area were small and the food takes too long to reach while your in the pool area. As an outside area there isn’t much to do. Overall it was a nice experience.

Lovey hotel! Rooms were very spacious and clean. Many amenities provided for my young toddler as well within the room. We chose the ground floor unit which has an outdoor jacuzzi bath, my toddler loved it! Service is excellent from arrival to departure, the staff are aways happy and smiling and try their best to accommodate requests which I very much appreciate. The hotel also has a lovely, clean beach with great views and daily hourly activities for children. The hotel is situated within a UNESCO forest so there isn’t much outside of the hotel- do expect to have to get transport to attractions on the island (not expensive by local taxi). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it left a very good impression of the Four Seasons brand.

Wonderful resort on a beautiful pristine beach. Staff could not have been better, everything you could desire was catered for. Stayed in garden room which was great overlooking beautiful grounds. Breakfast very good and in room dining was great. Resort is in need of a bit of tlc but after pandemic you can understand it. Was definitely very relaxing and a little slice of heaven.

The team has set a really high standard on resort life. Everyone was friendly, greeted us with a hello's (amazing training and consistency... it shows). We had a really enjoyable time, each of our days relaxing by the pool (great service from Malik and Raf). Stayed in the garden view lower floor room and it was spacious, very comfy beds, great jacuzzi outside and you get everything you need for your comfort from shampoo to body lotion, to toothpaste/toothbrushes. After reading many of the reviews, I was concerned about the mosquitoes, especially as it was the rainy season, and I think the hotel does it's best to keep them down. They provide you insect repellant (fortunately I only got 3 bites over the 4 nights which is good in my books - note I wore repellant). My only feedback was on the resturant side of things. I knew that pricing of food at four seasons was relative to what we would pay in Australia (as I had checked out the menus before booking), but I do feel like it was quite expensive and inaccessible to eat there for lunch and dinner, but this is also my first four seasons hotel, so this could be consistent globally. What I found surprising was entry level wine options was ~300 RM, so 100 AUD. We ate at Kepala Grill one evening during our stay. I was a bit underwhelmed with the timing. It took our appetizer 70 mins to come out, and then our main followed shortly after. The seafood was cook very well, but probably lacked a bit on the presentation and flavour.

Superb, from the moment I park the car until to my room, the entire check-in process and the given resort tour are super nice. All the staff here is very friendly and willing to help. I was celebrating my fiancee birthday at the beach, all the arrangement is perfect. The room is super nice, clean and spacious. Probably one the best resort I ever seen in Malaysia. The only cons that if have to pin point is that no food serve after 10pm. After all, is a unforgettable stay.
