Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate

This hotel is dead in the middle of no where it’s an expensive trip from MCO and is a convention cave. If you want to be anywhere near WDW or Universal this is not your place

Please make sure you use your top safety lock when staying at this hotel. One of my coworkers had a man attempt to enter her room at 6:00 AM. When she asked who he was, he identified himself as “security,” but he was actually maintenance. Thankfully, she did not let him in. What’s especially concerning is everything that followed: * Why did he misidentify himself as security? * Why didn’t he knock or properly announce himself? * Why didn’t the front desk call ahead before attempting to enter an occupied room—especially a solo female guest? * And why was there zero accountability from management afterward? To make matters worse, valet also “lost” my keys and told me they had somehow ended up at a gas station. I had to wait 30 minutes for them to retrieve my keys and bring my car back. Completely unacceptable. Our experience with Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate management was extremely disappointing. The situation was dismissed, and our safety concerns were not taken seriously. We were also told there was no surveillance available to review what happened. This was a frightening experience, and it ultimately led our entire team to leave a day early because we did not feel safe staying. This lack of accountability is unacceptable. Guests—especially women traveling alone—should be aware.

This resort was absolutely perfect for a family of four with two boys aged 6 and 4. Stayed in a two bedroom villa booked through Costco. The breakfast buffet at Trevi's was incredible: cold smoked salmon, omelet bar, fresh juices (green, carrot, beet), and probably the best sausage gravy I've ever had. The best part-my one kid has a severe peanut allergy and the chef came out to discuss our options and to avoid the house made baked goods/PB next to the breads and that the food line was clear of peanuts. I did not ask but server Hassan mentioned it and chef Cody was so kind to come out. They along with every other staff member was friendly, accommodating and memorably kind. The room was spacious and so great for a family. The only nit would be that it's probably time for new washer/dryer. Still worked though and everything else about the room was great. The pools were incredible! Lazy river with fun water features and nice scenery, wave pool (unheard of for a luxury resort), shallow kids pool with slides, and fast tube slide. Croc's pool bar/restaurant had really solid food with superb servers (too many to name) and excellent bartender (Tuan). We did not try any of the golf amenities or restaurants other than Crocs and Trevi's. N.B.: if you are in the Villas it is in a different building and it may be difficult to get rideshares or deliveries so plan accordingly. Very short walk to main part of hotel. We cannot give enough compliments about this resort.

It was a great hotel and it had everything you needed, great customer service and clean.

No free breakfast

Our server, Donald, at Trevi’s in the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate was outstanding. He managed two tables for our group—one for adults and one for kids—with effortless professionalism and care. Donald handled everyone’s dietary needs perfectly, engaged kindly with the children, and impressed us with his deep knowledge of the menu. His thoughtful recommendations even influenced our final choices. Donald is truly an asset to Trevi’s and the entire Omni Family.

Resort is wonderful - location, atmosphere, and rooms! I chose daily cleaning service which is great. Only wish the pool area had better coverage for drinks and food - does not have “flag” service like other high-end resorts.

This is a nice place, but it is not my kind of vacation. The best feature is the staff. Everyone we interacted with was very helpful and professional. The resort is very isolated, and if you want to do anything that's not touristy in Orlando, it's about an hour away. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was great. My biggest complaint is that the air conditioning temperature was absolutely frigid. I'm from a cold climate, so I'm used to being cool. This was beyond cool. I had to wear long pants and a sweater everywhere I went in the building. At one restaurant, I saw a young woman wrapped up in a blanket.

The pool was fab! Also room service expensive - but very good quality for room service

Championshate is gridlocked with traffic all the time.

Was here for a conference and would specifically like to call out two employees who were very hospitable, Yadiel and Kirk. Particularly, Yadiel. He went above and beyond to complete a task for me. He could’ve easily given up, but didn't and was able to give me what I needed. And for Kirk, he is such a kind and friendly employee. Very helpful. Both deserve special recognition.
