"Happy holiday"

8.0

Got back from vacation village a week ago. The hotel was small and yes needs a bit of renovation. We had a lovely poolside room. Breakfast was fine, with quite a few choices. You can hear the boats practically most of the day. It didn't bother us. There are quite a few parasols, not just one. You have to change sunbeds if you want it most of the day. The terrace is the best place. You get a comfy bed. Like most people say the hotel is in a lovely spot overlooking the beach. The pool needs a major overhaul. There are quite a few broken tiles and Sharpe edge's But it didn't stop us using it. The staff were really nice. The lady helping with Breakfast could smile a little. We would stay there again if we ever went back to that area

"Greatly location quieter end of krabi. Great breakfast. Rooms need a little freshen up. Lovely pool and sitting outside room"

8.0

Really liked this hotel ans the staff were amazing. Our first night was sleepless as our room was next to air conditioning units so they moved us to another room. Right on beach and at the quieter end of krabi as krabi 'high street' can be a bit lively. Beach a nice and great spot for sunsets. Beach was a little grubbie. Rooms a little dated and could do with a lick of paint and a freshen up.

"Too cramped and dark"

6.0

Too cramped for my liking. We had the pool rooms and you literally had people sitting right out your door. This made it feel a little cramped. The location was great and very easy to get around. The rooms too dark and a little old. The added bonus here is on the street not a minute from the pool you can get 99 baht cocktails from the nicest gentleman the Bloody Marys were to die for. You will also need ear plugs to sleep.

"Great hotel in a perfect location."

10.0

I have no idea why people are giving this hotel less than perfect reviews. Yes it is a bit tired and could be updated BUT the location of this hotel can't be beat. Exiting from the pool or restaurant lands you right on the beach where the long tail boats take you to Railey beach. The pools are beautiful with lots of shade. Although the people who grab chairs early in the morning and think they can save them until they return suck. I just move them. No saving chairs. The restaurant was delicious and there is no better place to watch the sunset. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It isn't fancy but it is the beach so who needs fancy. Staff was incredible. Offers yoga, tai chi and muay thai on the roof as well as other classes. The elevator could benefit from a deodorizer to cover the smell.

"Excellent value, great location, friendly and helpful staff."

10.0

Pleasant hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. Well below the going rate for a hotel in such a convenient location. The breakfast was nice, Wi-Fi was a bit weak but we didn't go there to surf indoors.

"Wont be returning!!"

2.0

Think we had the same room as Janice from Leeds. Absolute disappointment with the room. The bed certainly needs replacing as every time you turned over you felt every spring in the mattress! The shower towels with ok! I think the front of house staff could be more pleasant, they all show Trainee badges, there must be a fast turnaround of staff. We asked how much to organise transfer to the pier and speedboat onwards to Phuket. The price they gave was 3,800 baht. Over the road the price was 2,400 baht to include onwards to our hotel in Karon…..no brainer! The pool towels, are what I consider to be large kitchen towels for drying your pots and pans! The pool has no steps in order to enter or exit the pool, not suitable for children or people with mobility issues! Also there were a lot of broken tiles and a lot of pointing missing in the pool! On a positive note the breakfast was good, the egg station adequate. The young girl at the egg station was very polite! Also the Reception area is pleasantly decorated unlike the rest of the resort, very outdated and in desperate need of refurbishment and the room we had been taken out of use for the public!

"Lovely stay."

8.0

We had a lovely stay. Yes the hotel is dated , dare I say a little shabby here and there. Obviously a little past its sell by date, but the location and staff were great. The room was clean and a lovely comfortable bed. I liked the tropical atmosphere and very central location. Breakfast was decent too. Pool access would be a real problem for anyone who has difficulty walking or the elderly and young children. There are no steps which I thought was strange.

"1* read the reviews"

2.0

Very disappointed with this hotel. My heart sank when we were shown the room. Described as boutique & there is nothing boutique about it! We booked a Superior double room which was nothing like the pictures on the website.very shabby & worn & dated. Very dark at the rear of the hotel. The shower was a dribble not what you needed after being at the beach. The doors didn’t fit the casings.. The view from the balcony was onto a dumping ground. I asked to be moved as wasn’t happy with the room & was told nothing else available. The Staff were not helpful or friendly at all. Not approachable. Housekeeping was hit & miss with toilet roll & towel supply. Building work going on all day at the front of the hotel too. Heard a guest ask for an extra blanket & he was charged 300 baht for it. We will never book this hotel chain again.

"Needs a lot of work."

4.0

Location was fab.walk out of hotel and amongst everything. Rooms were old and smelly. We asked to be moved but apparently there were no other rooms. However another couple complained angrily and they got moved. Hardly any beds around the pool. Pool was old and needed work. Jacuzzi didn’t work. The hotel overall needs a good refurbishment.

"Building site ."

4.0

I booked a room for me and my and my son (14) . On arrival I was told that my son wasn’t booked in the hotel only breakfast and I had to pay for his bed for the 11 nights . I spoke to love holidays who got onto the hotel and it sorted the next day . That first evening we was put into a room and my sons bed was jammed into what space was left .. the next morning they moved us into a room which we payed for on the spa wing which seemed perfect at the time . These rooms are over looking a building site which is extremely loud . We are out most of the day but first thing in the morning the sound of tin sheeting being thrown about and sdr drills diggers etc is a bit too much . The hotel is lovely but I would have booked somewhere else if told about these issues .. I can’t even ask for another room as these are going to be too small and I’ll be back to square one .
