Closeness of many restaurants. Close to freeway.

Unfortunately, most hotels allow pets in rooms. Next door to us was a couple who left their dog alone for over an hour in the room whereupon it barked and whinned continuously for the entire time while jumping against the door trying to get out. The manager called the couple by phone but it still took them over an hour to come back and quiet their dog. There are many irresponsible people in this world who think only of their selfish selves very childishly. Good luck to everyone who tries to book a room and enjoy peace and quiet on a vacation. Also consider the possibility of fleas, allergies and pee all over the carpet.

The Staff was all very kind and helpful. It was convenient to participating in activities at the Salinas Valley Fair! We were hopeful to use the pool yet never found the time to do so.

The towels & bedding were seemingly stained and did not feel clean; yet we did use them and it was okay; just not a comforting feeling. Walking barefoot in the room turned the bottoms of our feet dirty. Our door was left opened on the first day after checking in, apparently not having been shut all the way after the maid had serviced our room.

Beds are comfy.

Restroom needs more detailed cleaning. There was blood on the wall and writing. Floors were dirty. My daughter's feet were black by the time she went to bed. No iron and ironing board. Some cable channels weren't working.
