Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Beautiful resort! Very cozy! The staff is incredible!!!!!! The sweetest!!!!! Go for lunch at the seaside grill and have the shrimp burger and ceviche! WOW !! Passion fruit margaritas! AMAZING! Best bartenders are at the pool side bar, EDWIN Y EDDY!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Special shout out EDWIN!!!!!! He made the best drinks!!!!

The room was lovely, and the balcony quiet #3222. However we did leave the bathroom fan on at night for 'white noise' to block out the occasional neighbor noise. Housekeeping was exceptional. I would be reluctant to recommend to physically challenged people. No elevators and most of the room blocks are 2 floors high. The fashionable uneven paving stones to meals are interesting, but my sister had to get used to walking on them. We were a Bit of a walk from the main food place...but we enjoyed the exercise, and seeing the odd Iguana, and Raccoon at night. Meals in the main place were quite good- variety. If you want real juice, order from the table staff. Busy times 09:30am and 7:30 pm. We walked the beach a few times, but there are weeds, Sargassum..look it up. Despite best efforts Many places are Struggling to control this stuff. The pool seats are not as hard to find as other resorts...though the rules say you are not to 'save' then walk away for the day...it still happens. Be kind to other Travellers. You cannot walk to anywhere outside of the resort. It is a 15 min drive into Tulum. Sadly, the stores on-site take advantage of that. $35 US for Sunblock! About 2x the city price (we took a cab to the city one day...and probably broke even buying sunblock, pills and food there). Taxis Anywhere are EXTREMEMLY high... We did a few tours with minibus transport included. As we checked out, I commented to the male..40-50's on the far left of the desk that I found the pumped in Strong Scent in the lobby was too strong. He dismissed my concern, and said that EVERYONE else likes it. As a retired nurse, and someone sensitive to scents, I prefer the slogan in the hospital.."No scents makes sense". Overall this hotel is Very good... we enjoyed our 1 week vacation...but Tulum is "One and done" for us. VERY expensive.

We like the activites as Salsa and Silent party. VICKTOR & ERICK we're really frinedly, helpfull and nice guys. They made ur vaction funnier and better. You can take the Colectivo from the highway if you want to visit some Cenotes, beaches, Tulum city for only 35 pesos /person.

Amazing resort, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Seaside bar was out go to. Best steak i've had. Pool area was nice. Preferred was worth every penny. Loved it and can't wait to go back

Great service. Oswaldo was our server at El Patio and we are so happy that we chose there for our last dinner. Exceptional service!! ***** my husband cannot have gluten and Oswaldo went out of his way to get him dessert from another restaurant!

Very beautiful resort, we were treated like royalty. Eric at the El patio really made us feel special, outstanding service and attention to detail. Diana at the world buffet and Laura at the beach were exceptional they took the time to make us feel at home, we appreciate servers like them. It really made our trip memorable. Thank you

A lovely resort, 5 miles from Tulum town which was accessible by Taxi or frequent communal minibus (we took the later several times as considerably cheaper than the taxi). The resort was on a sandy beach sandwiched between jungle and surrounded by wildlife. Beautifully kept grounds and well trained polite and helpful staff. The room was traditionally furnished, spacious and had a huge bed, large bathroom which included a shower and spa bath. Although a little dated it was clean and the quality of housekeeping was excellent. There was plenty of eateries on site and food choices, unfortunately not so many for me as a vegan. There was lots of fresh fruit, salad and vegetables but little understanding of the need for plant protein. I had expected there to be options of beans and nuts, but there was very little. The staff certainly tried to be helpful but didn't really understand the vegan diet. I however, accept that I am certainly in the minority. Tulum town has a couple of good vegan cafe restaurants where I had a couple of meals. But as I had fully inclusive in the resort it was not really practical or cost effective to keep eating out. I had expected more water sports onsite but there was very little, this could have been because the sea was sometime rough. Although still able to swim in marked area and in two nice swimming pools on site. I had hoped to do Yoga most mornings but unfortunately the second half of my 10 day holiday it was not available, this was disappointing. Some very interesting excursions to the jungle and Maya ruins. As well as cave and Cenote swimming and snorkelling and bike hire. I hope to return to this part of Mexico and possible this hotel to explore some more of the area.

Staff and location are perfect. Could use some updating. Maybe better selection of alcohol. The beach is lovely and the ocean is so nice but so many rocks and seaweed. Hard to snorkel.

Incredible staff, amazing food, cleanest public washrooms ever (and overall resort), great pool and beach (not a swimming beach) and fantastic drinks. I stayed preferred with a swim out - would go preferred again but not swim out - that pool was flipping cold and the steps were very steep with no railing. What was great: - food - drinks - vibes - variety - CoCo coffee bar - closeness of activities, restaurants, pool and beach - quiet at night - great daytime activities - rooms/mini fridge - staff - room service - cleanliness - lots of pool and beach chairs - and they will find you one if needed - resort layout - small buffet BUT everything you need - morning omelet oh my!! They keep the bacon behind the omelet/ egg station so you have to ask for it :0) - water is potable!! What Keeps me from giving a 5/5? And none of these are dealbreakers for me personally. - although we paid for preferred, we did not get all the services we were supposed to - distance from airport - 1 1/2 hr drive - yuck because you have to leave so early on return flight - no reservations for à la cartes - you just line up so dinner was after 8 pm every night so we missed the 7pm live entertainment - also means you stand in line wherever you eat waiting for a seat - you get used to it - when they do outdoor food (Mexican night And others) they close the buffet so makes it harder to find a place for dinner I fully plan to return again next year -have travelled south for 21 years and this is the best trip south I have ever has
