"Not ideal for business travelers. Good location."

Fitness center hours are 7AM-6PM, so as a person there on business, I was unable to use the facilities at my convenience. No desk in room to work, had to work on my bed. Valet parking lot is unprotected and accessible to anyone passing by. Restaurants were good, valet and bell staff was friendly as were restaurant servers- especially for breakfast.

"Very nice hotel with great location"

We had a very nice quick stay at the Portland Regency Hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and cozy, and we love the location. Easy to walk to many restaurants and shopping.

"Excellent"

Location was amazing! Perfect for walking everywhere in Old Portland. We could walk to the majority of our destinations within 10 minutes. Valet parking was $35/night with 24/7 service and cheaper than parking options in the area ($9/hour).

I had a weird bill from the hotel that my credit card flagged as fraud, which created stress as we were getting ready to check out. Manager on duty was unhelpful and unfriendly. Customer service skills could use some work.

It is centrally located to restaurants and stores in the Old Port and also a short drive to the Maine Mall and area stores. We like having breakfast at the hotel. The valet parking is great.
