Perfect location to enjoy downtown Portland. Friendly staff. Quiet room. Clean. Breakfast delicious in the beautiful dining room. Very reasonable rate for a wonderful stay.

Great location and great staff! In walking distance to everything and the Valet is really affordable! The spa is a great amenity to use since it is free for customers!

A great winter getaway experience with cozy fireside treats, hot tub relaxation, and a comfy room. Bathrobes weren't in the closet on our arrival, but housekeeping brought then up instantly on request. We love leaving our car with the valet, since we can walk everywhere we want to go! Our guests from out of state couldn't believe how friendly everyone was, and how comfortable that made them feel.

Great location. Comfortable quiet rooms. Ran into several glitches due to new front desk staffing, but feel I was heard when I brought to managements attention. Overnight hotel stays on Christmas can be challenging. Spa was very very good and reservations easy to make online ahead of stay. Valet parking helpful, esp in winter weather!

Overall..it's always excellent across the board. Been staying for 20+ years 3-4 times per year. It is a great adult hotel. While it is family friendly, it is adult centric as opposed to neutral or child oriented.

Location was great…within close proximity to many bars, restaurants and retail stores. Hotel is beautifully maintained . Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Restaurant food for breakfast was very good. Staff friendly.

We had stayed at the Regency a couple of other times but this stay, we got a promotional special (breakfast and parking included) this winter. The hotel continues to be lovely and our room (downstairs) was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and large as well. The staff was helpful, polite and courteous. We were disappointed that the Whiskey bar was closed while we were staying. If you eat breakfast, be ready for a long wait. The host and server were polite, but it took a very long time (both days) for breakfast to arrive. The food was delicious (malted pancakes with blueberries mixed in and the eggs Benedict). Also, the server asks if you would like coffee (before we even look at the menu) and then find out it cost $5.00! We went elsewhere for our massage, as the spa treatments seem very expensive. We look forward to going back to Portland in better weather, so, a mixed review!

Amazing getaway retreat for families, couples or solo ! From the fireplace in the lounge, to the Armory Restaurant and the access to their amazing spa. It’s a must for a 1-2 night reset getaway. Added bonus location location!! Close to all the Old Port shops and amazing eats! And the staff are all so friendly to our dogs!
