comfy,kind cool atmosphere great service

weird spots in the shower is my only complaint other than location which isn’t even on them that portland can be a bit sketchy was worried though about my car but that has nothing to do with really the service i got

I liked that it was cozy with the mural on the wall and they hook it up with snacks and drinks in the room!!

There was no elevator...I walk with a cane. Kinda have a hard time walking up the stairs and sometimes I trip and fall up them like I did last night. Other then that everything was great!

The room, the accommodating nature. I haven't stayed at a more thoughtful place. Unfortunately for me, I am a smoker, and since it's removal from being done indoors, there's been this aura of turned up noses and general elitism toward smokers from non. This place has taken the opportunity to even the scales and give a convenience to those who used to be allowed little to none. Each floor has a small porch in the hallway that guests can sit out on to enjoy the view and get some fresh air (or not so fresh in my case). Either way, as a guest it helped me feel seen instead of someone less than the rest.

The only thing I would improve is upgraded televisions in the rooms. It's not about size or clarity, they are just fine in the area. However, in this digital age people are likely more attuned to streaming services over digital cable. Autonomy is coming back and everyone likes the opportunity to choose and are starting to feel that they are allowed to do so.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Jupiter. The location was very convenient for buses to the convention center, downtown, and other Portland attractions. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel’s atmosphere made our visit even more enjoyable.

A coffee maker in the room and better sound proofing - the room adjacent to us have a noisy dog in it who woke us up a few times in the middle of the night.

If you want to actually stay in Portland, and not some generic hotel that could be anywhere, stay at the Jupiter. Quirky, fun, really great staff. I had a machete (firs time!) at the bar paired with a local IPA, which was great. The back of every door is a chalk board where they dare you to do something creative, those little white nubs of chalk are just staring at you, why not try it? They also have connections to other local businesses on East Burnside, so ask about that at the desk they will point you in some interesting directions. See if you can find Grendel's Ghost.
