Jupiter Hotel

I've stayed at Jupiter Next (the newer side of the hotel) before and it was great. This was my first time staying at the motel side. I think the rooms themselves are fine, they have some updates and decently comfy beds. However, the walls are THIN. You will hear your neighbors and you will especially hear anyone staying above you. We also happened to be staying during some sort of event. Unfortunately the guests were loud late into the night and kept us and our pups up. There's also no parking in the lot upstairs near the rooms, which is a problem for anyone needing handicap assistance. We were informed that we could park in the lot under the motel, but the front desk person failed to tell us there was no elevator and the stairs were steep and narrow. There are a few more positives: in a very walkable area to coffee, shops, and food and public transportation. Would I stay in the motel again? No. Would I stay in Next. Yes.

If room is available, early check in should be free. A charge is not great customer service.

I had heard that this was the place to stay when trying to find hotels online and I couldn't have been happier. The bed and room were comfy and had everything we could have needed and the location is perfect. We ended up walking for so many of our meals because so many of the food cart pods and restaurants are a stones throw away. There's plenty of options for parking and staff eat super helpful in figuring that out for us. It's got such an incredible vibe. The entire place has the energy of Portland's upbeat and community focused atmosphere and it shows everywhere. I couldn't recommend it more.

Great rooms at NEXT and great service at the front desk, accommodating all I need. I love the location and it's centrality to all Portland has to offer. NEXT has very comfortable rooms with cute views of the city and amenities to support during the stay.
