The friendly and helpful staff made this hotel. The hotel restaurant was excellent. But not open on our last night which, as one of our party was 90 meant a rather expensive taxi. Breakfasts were good value, but late comers might not get a full selection.

We booked this hotel specifically because it was advertised to have a swimming pool. So when we were told it was closed we were very disappointed. Then when, on our last night there, the hotel manger told us it wasn't closed, we were just Angry.... We were also disappointed to find the hotel restaurant closed on our last night, especially as the website suggested it was open 7 days a week? Our stay was in early June over D-Day so you'd think this was peak times?
