Samsara Cliff Resort

Stayed here on an all inclusive TUI package tour and what we got was unexpected - not a large impersonal complex but a small friendly hotel. Main thing was the friendliness of the staff (a little tipping helps but I suspect they are always friendly). Rooms were clean with excellent sea views (in the more modern part where we stayed) and good a/c. All inclusive drinks were limited (no wine) but good cocktails and beer. Food was different! Not a buffet is sight as all the food was dished out (and cooked) by lovely catering staff - bit like a canteen but with limited selection of 'home cooked' Jamaican dishes - I suspect some people will not enjoy this but we found it excellent. There is no beach here but there is daily transport to a sister hotel with a lovely beach. Snorkelling is great here but only when the sea is calm - for half of our two weeks it was too rough and prohibited. Hotel faces west so sunsets were great. There was entertainment (vocal) two night per week and most of the guest seemed to enjoy this. All in all a very enjoyable holiday that was a little bit different

The location and sunset on the cliffs is gorgeous. The room was very nice and got cleaned good every day. The vibe in the hotel was very friendly because of the staff working there. There were not many guests because of hurricane Melissa and a lot of cancelations which was too bad but nothing the staff could do about that of course. The food was cooked very well, my only suggestion would be to change the menu from time to time because it was a lot of the same things for two weeks. However, what was made by the ladies was magnificent. And last but not least a big and special thanks to all of you. From kitchen to garden men, from reception to taxi drivers, literally everybody made us feel at home. Miss Jennifer from reception, mr Andrew the taxi driver and Miss Tina from the bar get our special thanks, they are magnificent and lovely people!

The staff were amazing. Shout out to Tina, Kim & Shantel (not sure I have name correct). Pools were great. Food was good. Our room was clean and simple. Only negative would be the amount of stairs on resort which should have been marked with yellow or neon lines.

An amazing place with amazing staff warm and welcoming the location is beautiful rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and beach towels. The food was great and plentiful Tina and Marcia were exceptionally great and the whole staff were professional helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and was very relaxing im looking forward to returning next year

We travelled as a group of blues music fans, bringing our own musicians from Canada. Dawn, the organizing travel agent, has been bringing groups here for years and we can see why. This resort carries the charm of the old Jamaica; nothing grandiose and elaborate, just that great laid back vibe that we go to Jamaica for. Food selection is small but the quality is excellent and has a real homemade taste. The pools and grounds are kept beautifully clean and the staff are efficient and friendly. Special note to Tina at the bar with her beautiful smile. Georgia who is absolutely radiant and flips those breakfast omelettes with ease. Kim, with her warm breakfast greeting every day. George who looks after the grounds so well. They also provide a free shuttle service to their sister resort, Legends (on the beach), which is a real bonus. Shout out to Norman and Junior who drove us in these shuttles. This resort has good value for the price paid.

Had an amazing 2 weeks at samsara! The staff were exceptional, they were friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. I celebrated my 40th birthday while we were there and every member of staff made sure it was an amazing time as well as making me a birthday cake! The food was amazing with plenty of variety and well made. There were times when the cliffs were closed so diving and snorkelling were not possible but that is to be expected, the hotel does not control the weather or the sea. The location of the hotel offers breathtaking sea views and the ability to capture stunning sunsets. Tina, Marcia, the cooks, the restaurant staff (all the staff really) were what made our time there so memorable, I can’t thank them all enough! The rooms while basic were clean and comfortable.We will definitely be returning!

La infraestructura del hotel fue pensada y planeada para un gran lugar per está demasiado deteriorada parece que no le generarán mantenimiento

La comida es muy poco variada el personal no todo pero alguno le restringen la comida a los huéspedes y se ven enojados el servicio realmente fue una mala experiencia

This hotel was lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were excellent and different food every day

Was so impressed by Samsara. Although I have lived in Negril and stayed on the beach many times, I had never stayed on the cliffs. Views, scenery are out of this world. A different level of peace and tranquility. My kids loved it and cliff jumped for the first time. Restaurant food needs some work although the breakfast is good. Didn’t use the free daily shuttle to the beach as we hired a car but it’s a great bonus for those that need it. Will be back at Samsara AGAIN & AGAIN.

De locatie zelf beviel het meest. Had genoeg in de buurt.

De prijs en kwaliteit van het hotel kwamen niet overeen. Het zag er op de foto's stukken beter en netter uit als in het echt. Het ontbijt was wel lekker, maar duur.
