Hotel Aurora

Good location, walkable to the town centre but away from the busyness. Staff were friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely in the sun. Room was spacious though walls were thin and we could hear the people next door at night. Hotel has access to the beach which you have to pay for but it is free for guests after 1430. Overall, I would stay here again.

LOVE the breakfast buffet on the patio! The facility is very nice- BUT we discovered fleas in the bed! The staff were prompt to come and treat and clean up the room, at least.

The best part of the hotel was the location. Minutes away from shops, restaurants, and the port for ferries. Room was fine.

The location to the square was super handy. The breakfast was exceptional. Staff were ultra friendly. Davide at the beach was a real nice guy and looks after you really well when you're down there. Don't forget to tip him at the end of your stay!

I read this in the review prior to us going and thought hey it must be a once off issue no big deal but the wasps at the breakfast in the morning was a real negative for me. The staff tried their best to keep them away. I think having the food inside would be a good solution. The price of the beach loungers was €40, which I can take if it meant we'd have the full day however because there is a cliff behind you the sun left at around 3PM. So realistically you're paying for sun beds from 10AM to 3PM which was a negative.
