Hotel Aurora

Lovely hotel- owners were super friendly- walkable location- room sparkling clean and nicely tiled- yummy breakfast.

Fabulous location, in Amalfi but out of the hustle and bustle. Relaxed and quiet. Fantastic, friendly and accommodating staff. Good breakfast on terrance which is also great for a drink with a view in the afternoon. Fabulous to also have your own private terrace with sun lounger and view.

The room we had, had very small shower enclosure. Ok for me but not great for my husband.

Struttura un po' vetusta, parcheggio non comodissimo, terrazza con vista parziale e condivisa con altre camere (separati solo da 2 vasi) Costi esagerati come in tutta Amalfi

This hotel is amazing. First, if you want something close to the water and away from the noise of the city, this place is definitely great. I traveled with my daughter. We flew into Naples and took the ferry to Amalfi. As always, we brought our huge luggage, backpack and I had a purse. We were able to maneuver luggage easily to the hotel without using a car. We had a room with a balcony that looked at the front ocean (Room 37). The hotel is really nice and the staff are the best. They gave great restaurant suggestions, arranged for car service to our cooking class and a day in Ravello and to our next destination in Positano. I cannot say enough about the staff, they were wonderful from the breakfast crew, front desk team, gentlemen who took our luggage to and from our hotel room and the pleasant ladies that cleaned our rooms every day. I was extremely impressed with the room cleaning, it was thorough. The breakfast was very good, I am sure people have posted pictures for you to review. We enjoyed the private beach on one day. For those who have little ones, there is a playground for children with a small beach area that is near. I found that to be very nice for those who travel with toddlers. Two days before we left, we met a family that were in town to attend a wedding ceremony. A majority of the family were in the hotel. Therefore, I would definitely suggest this hotel for those with children, teens, and for those attending weddings in the area. One more suggestion, if you love shoes like I do, check out Stefania Shoes in Amalfi, it was an amazing experience to have shoes made right before your eyes. They have a great selection.

Lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación. Está cerca del puerto y para venir con las valijas es muy cómodo. Proximo al Ferry, bus para Positano, etc y también cerca de la plaza y restaurantes. La terraza del hotel es hermosa, el personal excelente y muy atento. El desayuno también excelente y tienen paquetes de alimentos embasados que son ideales para una colación. En general es un muy buen hotel. Pasé muy linda estadía.

Lo que no me gustó fue que la habitación es bastante pequeña, la cama matrimonial no era una King, sino dos boxes juntos y los colchones estaban juntos pero separados. Pensé que para lo que había pagado iba a tener aunque sea vista parcial al mar y no. No solo que no había vista sino que daba a un pozo de aire interior, por lo cual casi no había luz natural. Además de que en las fotos parece que las habitaciones tienen jacuzzi en la terraza de la habitación y no es así. No sé ni cual tendría ya que no se aprecia desde afuera. La zona de "Playa privada" no es linda. Hay mucha marea y rocas. Está dentro de un club de playa poco cuidado Además hay que pagar por la sombrilla y camastros. Recomiendo ir a la playa pública al lado del muelle.
