Matt and Chris went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

Great location, friendly staff

The aircon is super noisy. The blackout curtains don't work and there is a lot of light in the room early.

The hotel was very beautiful and well-kept. It was located conveniently between Back Bay, South End, and the Boston Public Garden/Commons. The staff was very helpful, in particular Chris who helped us with our heavy luggage. Very positive experience overall.

Hotel AKA Back Bay was everything you want in a Boston stay…exceptional service, an unbeatable location, and a sophisticated yet welcoming vibe. The staff went above and beyond, the rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and nearly everything Boston has to offer was within walking distance. If you’re looking for the perfect home base to experience the very best of the city, this is it. Five stars all around.

Location

Old facilities, dark rooms, outdated furniture… it’s supposed to have the AKA look and feel, but in reality it’s a poor old hotel recycled. Bar/bistro on the first floor is totally dead.

• Fantastic location and easy access to the city’s main attractions. • Convenient home base for exploring on foot.

Did not feel like the luxury property it advertises. The room was much more basic than expected and lacked the upscale feel shown in the photos. • Construction began around 8 a.m. and continued throughout the day, making it very difficult to rest, especially while dealing with jet lag. • The room had a strong sulfur-like odor that smelled like eggs. • The room was uncomfortably hot throughout our stay.

Great stay again in Boston’Aba back bay. The hotel staff is very helpful and kind - especially Chris . We love the cooperation with equinox gym Dartmouth. The hotel Lobby is very nice. Rooms are spacious. We will come back again! It was our third time.
