"Unexpected experience from a trusted hotel brand"

’m writing to share a concern about my recent stay at this hotel. I’ve stayed at Marriott properties many times and have always had a consistently positive experience, which made this visit especially disappointing. The room I was assigned (#118) had a very strong and unpleasant odor—similar to urine or a litter box. It made the room uncomfortable, and while I recognize I should have requested a room change at the time, the smell was pervasive and not something I’ve encountered before at a Marriott. After the stay, I reached out to Marriott Customer Care, but unfortunately, they declined to take any action. For others planning a stay here, I would recommend you think twice. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, as I’ve come to expect much higher standards from Marriott, however their lack of response is truly disappointing.

The hotel is useful. I didn't know it was close to a jail...and major highway...and airport but I felt safe. Staff was helpful. The little Bistro was always closed so I can't rate the food on the premises but I didn't smell food in the building. The room was just that....a room with a small couch, desk, and a queen size bed. The shower water could have been hotter and the pressure could have been harder but the bathroom was Clean... The air conditioner and tv were both operable but the refrigerator didn't work. We called maintenance to fix the issue, but it was never fixed throughout my stay.
