Residence Inn Hartford Avon

The staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping and breakfast associates, do a great job. The property itself is ready for a complete renovation / refresh which we understand is scheduled to begin late this year. For some of the rooms in which we've stayed, it's due, to be sure. In the meantime though, the team members running the day to day (some who have been there for years) are keeping the place humming with superior customer service.

Simply awful conditions. Room was barely clean. Refrigerator had left ove chef Bo yar Dee. Really gross. My bedroom reeked of marajuana so I slept on the couch.

We stayed for 3 nights and no cleaning or exchange of towels took place. Our shower had mold at the base of the tiles. We have stayed here before, the location works well for our visit and the desk staff and breakfast availability are definite positives.

I've stayed here almost every summer while teaching a one week graduate course. Great accommadations and staff. Always a great experience.

Bike trip for local trails

The hotel is very clean albeit dated in some respects. The location was great for our needs. We found it to be easy in and out. We liked the fact it was very close to the Whole Foods market for picking up meals.

I have visited this place four times, and each experience has been delightful. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and my stays have always been comfortable and enjoyable.

Great overall. Nice hotel. Great air conditioning in the rooms. Close to a breakfast place-Dom’s coffee which was very good!

Personnel at the hotel are great but property is dated. They need new mattresses and upholstered furniture. If you compare to newer Residence Inns, this older model does not have as good a layout. Some other aspects that need updating is the air conditioner and sidewalks on the property need replacement

The customer service is fantastic! All employees were super nice and the room was quiet. I took off a rating because the gym was missing equipment such as dumbbells (went from 20 lbs to 35 lbs), no towels or mats.
