Residence Inn Hartford Avon

Room was clean. Ac wasn’t working so we had a window unit which prevented us from closing the curtain. Shower head was not adjustable and was set in a much too strong flow. Was not created immediately as another employee was monopolizing the front desk attendant talking about parking her car during snow.

Staff was courteous and welcoming at both check in and check out. Breakfast was good. Location was good. Hotel general appearance was good. However the room was warm but we noticed that a window unit was put in the room which got covered when we pulled the curtains for privacy and sleeping the night of our stay. This caused the room to be warm.

We stayed one night for a wedding in the area. Pros: Check in as quick and easy with a friendly worker. Room was spacious and clean enough. Cons: Overall a little run down (toilet paper holder literally falling out of wall), just the feeling of old/tired, no garbage can in bathroom, pillows were terrible. I don't think we would stay here again.

From the moment I arrived Lucia made me feel like a special guest. The hotel was clean, nice rooms and easy parking and no charge for parking which is great.

It was a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The employees were kind and helpful. I slept well. Breakfast was yummy and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Avon, Connecticut.

I had a wonderful time. The room was clean and the kitchenette was well-stocked and I was treated really well by Lucia and Matt at the front desk. Would definitely come again!

Excellent service, super clean, and very comfortable rooms. This is making me use 100 characters which is really freaking annoying!

Clean property. All staff members we interacted with were courteous, helpful and very professional. The stay was very comfortable.
