CALIXTA Hotel

Over all it was a positive experience. Really enjoyed my time and the staff was great.

The most important thing for the company to know is that they have a good understanding of what the customer needs. Air conditioning was so good, my arthritis started to act up. It is super close to the famous COCO BONGO and other nightclubs, so the noise tends to get through but not all too much. They are also at a great walking distance to many stores, they even have a 7/ll right under the hotel. Overall my experience was very pleasant

The hotel could use a little refresher with paint, decor and general upkeep. Also, I was sold on the hotel because of the rooftop pool. I looked at all the website photos and when I saw the rooftop pool in person it looked run down. The pool water looked dirty, there were no cute cabanas (the cushions were on the ground), it was no comparison to the online photos.

We had a great stay. Super nice staff. Quiet and safe! Great security!

The hotel was in a good location. Just Minutes to walk to the beach restaurants shopping close to night life. Room was clean staff was friendly and nice price was reasonable. The breakfast that was included was tasty. The view from the rooftop was amazing. Only negative comment is the pool was non operational my entire stay:-( I would stay here again.

Very kind and helpful staff. Hotel is centrally located with easy walking to the beach, shopping, eating etc. Our room was very small, which was fine for us as we travel light, it had all we needed but others may find it too cramped. Some areas of the room and hotel need fresh paint etc. Rooftop pool area is nice but the pool itself looked rather green during our stay.

The beds were extremely comfortable. The water pressure was awesome and hot water worked well. The property was right next door to seven eleven, a convenient store a pharmacy and coco bongo. The infamous 5th avenue was just a block away!

Building is outdated. The common areas are old and dirty.
