Staff was wonderful! Front desk, breakfast staff and cleaning staff all 10/10 The bed and pillows were absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was great. Pool area was okay but pool was cloudy so did not use. Would definitely stay here again. One note: Map showed 14th street between 10 & 15 Ave but the entrance is actually on 10th Ave between 12 & 14 street. Needs to be updated on Expedia.

Good: 1. Location - good location, away from noise from 5th Avenue, yet close to it. Just a block away. Beach is also just a few blocks away. Small convenience stores nearby are great. 2. Room size, balcony and bed. Very good. Bed was comfortable and pillows great. Balcony was nice addition. Room is big. Shower was also good and water pressure good. Safe and water kettle in room. 3. Staff - very good. Customer service was great! Friendly people. Night time reception lady did not speak english, other staff did. 4. Pool - nice, small pool area with sunbeds/ pillows. Would nice if you offered pool towels. On day 3/6 of upur stay there was a power outage and after this hot water did not work or the elevator. We did receive small compensation for it. We would walk up to Playa 72 (public beach access) several days. Nice beach, a bit windy, shallow water. You are just a few blocks to beach from hotel, but personally liked Playa 72 area better (approx. 2,5km down 5th Avenue). No free water bottles in room.

Hotel is in nice location.close to everything.10 to 15 walk to ferry if you want to go cozumel Island.Rooms are nice and clean.Only Bad thing is lots of noise outside the hotel.you can't sleep well all night.Beach is also dirty not clean..some parts of water is clean but mostly is dirty.and off course shoping and restaurant food is expensive too.Good luck.

We spent a great weekend in this hotel, very clean and quiet. The only thing I didn't like was the coffee with milk for breakfast, it was very watery, you didn't feel the caffeine.

I stayed there from Aug 10-14, I had an excellent experience in this hotel, it’s near to the beach and everything. Very clean, breakfast is so good and it’s a safe place. Staff at the restaurant was so friendly and the manager always was attentive and taking care of the customers. I will recommend and go back.

We stayed at Kayak Sol PDC in July 2023. Taxi’s had a difficult time finding it as it has a tiny entrance. The room itself was standard, nothing cultural or modern about it and the towels were well used, dull, flat, or the opposite of plush. The location was near to the beach and the pool and breakfast area were cute, but not enough cuteness would satisfy the dishonesty of the manager of this hotel. We were told we could take my daughter’s service dog without charge. I spent the first night there with my friend, then my daughter and her dog joined us the next day. I called to confirm that he could stay and asked if there was any extra deposit or charge and was told there was not. The front desk employee welcomed him and was very cordial. It wasn't until the evening that another front desk person told us she had to talk to the manager about us paying an extra fee per night. At first, they tried to charge me for the night he didn't stay, but of course I appealed the whole thing. When they ask for some proof that he was a service dog. I told them that he had shot records that any service dog was required to have, but not a document saying he was a service dog. I informed them that he was cleared through the airlines, TSA, and through Mexican customs and immigration with those records as a service dog and was not required to have any additional documents that they were requesting. Finally, they did not charge for the night he was not there, but made themselves some extra money for nothing. It's unfortunate that the money was more important than the patron. This is sad to the core as obviously they are behind in recognizing the importance of service dogs and what they bring to those with disabilities. The dog rarely barks, caused no more harm to the room than having a wheelchair sitting in a room would. They should rethink their policy and best practices. Just be forewarned of the sneaky way they brought on extra cash. It felt bad and put a blemish on our trip.

Loved that it was close to everything. Breakfast was delicious. My family and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking with them again.

Hotel was great the room was nice. The internet wasn’t working and our room didn’t get cleaned between nights. The beds are super comfortable
