Vattnet fungerade inte.

Outdoor area. Excellent dinner in Bar. Very good breakfast. The lovely Receptionist on duty Sunday night and Monday morning. The 2 fabulous Ava's in the Bar Sunday evening.

Parking was a slight issue but was resolved well.

Die Lage, das exzellente Frühstück. Die Nähe zum Flughafen, ohne dass dieses störend wirkte. Unser Zimmer war schon teilrenoviert.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war nicht sehr freundlich und schien genervt. Der übereinandergelegte Teppich im Zimmer, der eine Stolperfalle darstellt. Ich würde Laminat oder einen anderen pflegeleichten Bodenbelag empfehlen. Die abgenutzte Sitzbank.

The location. Being right on the ocean was the highlight! The views were stunning and it was the only highlight from our stay.

The room was not clean. The carpet was ripped up in places (they told me they were remodeling). Markings on the wall, like scratches and pen marks. There was an unknown white substance sprayed across the headboard. There was hard mass of food/vomit dried on the wall next to the radiator. The room had an odor of vomit. And the toilet would leak when flushed. When I went to discuss concerns with staff at front desk, they were more interested in continuing their conversation instead of addressing guests. Staffing seemed short in the restaurant.

Four of us popped in for a bite to eat yesterday while at the beach and the service wasn't what you'd want or expect, 3 girl's standing around chatting so I eventually went over to ask for menus, they didn't even break their conversation and hardly acknowledged me, then I went back to ask did they have a child's menu and got the same response, we ordered and the food was bland and tepid. This place really is below par.

The toilet didn’t flush unless the tap was turned on. Hotel door wouldn’t lock or close behind me when let go it would stay open. Only noticed this when walking to our room and noticed other rooms the same.

This was our return visit after a number of years, so we hope for great things........ Check in was okay, taxi booked for that night ( 'you can book one but they generally don't turn up!'). The room ....... Clean but it was missing a room check by anyone in management! Please see the pictures! Surprise, surprise the taxi didn't turn up..... Multiple phone calls and a taxi turned up. Great night in a local restaurant 10 out 10 (Pasta Castello, Donabate. Highly recommend!!) By a ' helping angel' we got back to the hotel. A very pleasant evening watching Dublin bay north was had. The next morning on check out the front of staff where shown the attached pictures (to the reaction ' I'll have house keeping look') I have sent these in an email to no reply as yet. David
